Omg, poor Pam and Jim!
I really love this story. It's well-written, the characterization is great, and I like how you can include little bits of humor even in the midst of all the chaos ("I don't want my kid to be a four-eyes") - it stays very true to the spirit of the show.
Update soon, please! xoxo

Dr. McNulty & Nurse Mindi sound wonderful! I enjoyed the Jim and Pam's bantering and lightheartedness of this chapter. I have a feeling you're lulling us into complacent before hitting us with the serious stuff.
Author's Response: yes.... yes i am. it all ends happily though.

It's not bad or, clunky, as you'd put it. Little moments are needed to set up bigger ones so it's actually a good thing you're not rushing and providing details.

So far the best chapter yet, you're writing them so perfectly in character that I can see it all in my head =)
I hope they stop her contractions - ohhhhhh the drama :)

I know you said you had trouble with this chapter, but I think it was pretty good - it needed this, something to connect it to the rest of what you are going to write, which, by the way, I can't wait to read. Great work so far. Looking forward to more!

I used to be scared of Heffalumps when I was three or four. I was an easily frightened child. Hahah.
Anyway, this is a really cool story! I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)

This is very interesting, the idea that Pam might have a difficult birth. But I'm glad that you said there's going to be a happy ending. I like knowing what I'm getting into ;o)
Also, I love the fact that Jim's & Pam's kid is a boy. I think this is the first fic I've read where it is so. Looking forward to more
Author's Response: i actually WAS going to make it a girl... but yeah, all the other fics i've read, they've had a girl, so i thought i'd switch it up. that, and i like the idea of a "mini-jim"!

wait, how is this a happy ending. you must not be done yet. please give me another chapter, i'm so worried about this overly realistic (in a good way) pam!
Author's Response: it says in the "story notes" that this is a work-in-progress. yes, there will be more chapters.

Very well written. Your ability to write Jim and Pam honestly - with things that real people would say in the moment - is what kept this from slipping into melodrama. It's such a fine line to walk and you're doing a great job. I can't wait for the rest!

That was so well written, I can't wait to see where you go with this. I loved little J.D aw - I'm eager to see what happens to Pam and the baby, and how will Jim cope?:(
Update soon!

Should I feel guilty that I really liked this when everyone is so excited about the happiness surrounding baby Halpert? No! It's all good :)
This was really well written and paced and I can't wait to see where you go with it. I just hope it's not toooooo sad/dramatic - there's only so much a girl can take concerning this fictional baby! :D
Author's Response: don't worry... it'll be scary for awhile, but it all ends happily.
