I love how this just barely hints that Jim is faking it without going overboard. Well done.

Jim, I have a feeling I wouldn't get even that far with a stick. However, I'd be more inclinded to learn if Jim (or even Pam) would teach me.

I was waiting for a fic about this! My favorite line was when Pam mentioned the G spot. How very risque of her!
Author's Response: When Jim talked about her teaching him, I thougt: GOLD! I thought people would jump right on it, but no one did, and since I'm a stick driver myself, I thought I would give it a try! The G spot is my favorite part, I still remember my fiance making me flush when he introduced the techinicality of moving the car with that term. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I can't critique most of the story, because I don't drive stick. But I love the way you filled in the back story, plus season 2 banter was really good. Oh and that last line, it's so sneaky, but so cute! Any chance we might see another leson or two?
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I love season 2 banter. I kind of miss it, I hope they include more this season. I think I had that last line, before everyting else... crazy me! I don't know about another chaptet, we'll see about how things go. thanks for reading.

Aww, this is really cute :) I've been hoping someone would write about this!
One nitpicky issue: Even if your car is in gear, if you have the clutch down when you turn the ignition (As it reads that Jim did to me), the car won't stall? (If you do not have the clutch down you will.)
...and now you'll have to excuse me whilst I go watch that scene in Niagara for the millionth time...
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, the way I wrote about the the car stalling seemed a bit obscure. So, I changed it! The way it reads now it that Jim didn't have the clutch pushed all the way. I hope it makes more sense now. And I can't tell you how many times I've watched the scenes from Nigra, specially the tie cutting scence. AMAZING! Thanks for reading.

::sigh:: I love this. When Jim said it during Niagara, I thought...oh YES, somebody has to jump on this one. What a goldmine. I can totally imagine it playing out this way. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reaing and reviewing it. And yes, it is a GOLDMINE! I hope more people write about it, this can play out in soo many different ways! The more the merrier, right? =)

This was great, perfect backstory to Jim's toast! I love how he's pretending not to know how to drive a stick. It brought back memories of when I learned to drive a stick (although I didn't remember it having to be in netural to start it but it was many, many years ago!) Great job!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. Jim had to pretend not to know, and also to get things "wrong" as she taught him. My car at least (VERY old car) if I don't have it in neutral it will jump forward... It's old and that is the least of it's problems. Thnak you so much for reading and reviewing.

That was really cute. I love how he didn't corrected her and just went along with it lol.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. Jim had to play along and get things wrong so she would keep teaching him. I just wonder how in the world did he manage to not learn it for a year!! hahah... I thinking tooo much about it! thanks for reading.

awww, adorable! it was so sweet in jim's toast how he mentioned waiting, and all he did just to be around pam when she was still with roy. great job, this was really well written mind the few typos!
Author's Response: The toast had me in tears. And I just had to write about how in the world he managed to "fool" Pam into thinking he couldn't drive a stick, FOR A YEAR! Just two are sooo great! (Yes, I'm attached to these fictitious characters!) =)
