Just FYI, you aren't supposed to microwave bottles. I mean, we aren't allowed to at work. Apparently, it heats them unevenly. Of course, we actually have these fancy bottle warmers, but when you've got 24 babies daily, you need the fancy pants stuff.
And this was so adorable. But annoyingly similar to what I've done a thousand times over the past week. Just change the times a bit (more like 10:40 am instead of 3:35). But yet, its hear the cries, heat the bottle, feed the kid, burp the kid, put them down for a nap. Although it sounds much more interesting, sweet, and cute when you write it.

Awww, this was so very sweet. Although I loved all parts about Jim and the baby, this totally cracked me up:
"You walk back into your bedroom and hear Pam breathing deeply. (‘I don’t snore, Jim’). "

This is so very sweet without being maudlin. You've picked the three month mark, which is a good choice because Jim and Pam seem to be comfortable and have the routine down by now, which is realistic. Nice attention to detail - loved the "olympic burp" - it's the kind of thing a proud papa would like. Well done.

wow, this is beautiful! i love the relationship you've shown between jim and his son, this was so perfectly written. great job on the detail! even though this is a one-shot, i think you should do another one with pam waking up and taking care of the baby - maybe a daughter? just an idea, i think you'd write something amazing!
