How did I miss this? It's quite delicious! Like Olive Garden bread sticks! lol. I didn't think I wanted to read another first date story, but you somehow managed to make it a really fresh read. Kudos!
Author's Response: haha, who can resist OG breadsticks? :) thanks so much for your review--i agree that there can only be so many "first dates". thanks so much for taking the time LoveFool!

this was delicious with a captial D!
you've captured Jim and Pam sooooo perfectly here..my favorite sentence was
He wants to buy this moment and put down a mortgage and just move on in because holy mother of God.
so great.
fantastic job!!
Author's Response: thank you with a capital T, kaat! you're too sweet :)

Wow, that was good. And that's really all I want to say before that happy image has to leave my mind. Seriously, why did I have to go and read the depressing "Two" story??? So sad, this is so happy!
Author's Response: Haha! I guess we all need some angst to blance out the chocolate-covered fluffy goodness sometimes. Make sure not to read anythign too depressing before bed, though. Thanks so much for your review, pamelamorganhalpert!

I'm only reviewing because Koi's scare me :( KIDDING :)
Very cute indeed, I love me some first date/early Jim and Pam stories.
Best line:
“No, it’s just that Chili’s is my usual. They all know my name there. Then again, they all know yours, too, so…”
Made me LOL out loud :)
Author's Response: Haha well you don't have to worry about them now! Haha :) I love peeking into that unknown world of budding Jim and Pam as the official "Jim and Pam". Thank you so much for your review, and I'm honored that I could make you laugh!

That was absolutely amazing!! Your descriptions of Jim were dead-on and so perfectly written. I rerally liked the way you told the story.
Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks so much Nadienne! Jim has always been my favorite to write (and to watch...haha)

Well, that was a neat little piece of story. :)
Personally, I don't think I'll ever get tired of well written first date fics. It was like the time in the relationship where the energy was just so intense, and you did a really nice job capturing that emotion. You description of Jim seemed like the perfect counter balance to Pam's reaction right after he asks her to dinner, and it was nice to imagine that emotion carrying them through the entire night.
Excellent work.
Author's Response: You are so sweet! The exuberance of early-season 4 and that whole chunk of honeymoon-phase summer just always tugs at my heart strings :) Thanks so so much for reviewing!
