Finally starting to read this. I'm not a big fan of baby fic, but I'm gonna give it a try. Are you a parent? Cause this is something straight out of any day of a toddler! lol
Author's Response: I'm not a parent, no. But I once worked for a family with 8 children. It taught me I do not want to have 8 children.

I'm really enjoying this, ivy! I think you're doing a fine job of creating both a believable relationship and handling Cece's maturing. I think you can continue till she's about 35!

You handled Jim perfectly, He reacted just as I thought he would. Like you said, he's a sensitive guy, but he isn't OVERLY sensitive where he needs his man card removed lol. You're also writing Cece BRILLIANTLY!!! Poor thing, this is definitely not the thing you want to talk to Dad about lol

I definitely think this was in-character. I must've missed something somewhere, though, because I couldn't figure out why Pam was working at a high school! At first, I thought maybe that was Cecelia's school, but a 12 year old would be in middle school, so that's not it... Was it in another chapter and I just totally missed it?
Author's Response: Yeah, I think it was the...age 9 chapter, there's a bit of history that says after Dunder Mifflin shuts down, Jim became sales director at another office supplies company (Jay's Business Systems, actually a Scranton company) and Pam became sophomore guidance counselor at a high school.

You NIALED 11 year old Cece. at 11, you think you're all that, but at the end of the day, you still love your Dad, you just can't show it openly in front of your friends LMAO.
I really am so enjoying this series :)

Well done. Love this chap, ivy. The anecdote about "Papa" fits in quite nicely and strikes a perfect balance with the somberness of the occasion. Very sweet that Cece allows her daddy some quality time with her.

Charming chap, ivy. I enjoyed the narrative style. Also, the reference to Five Little Peppers made me smile. I remember loving that book :D

Okay, seriously. These keep on getting better and better. Cece being there for her Daddy when he needed her... and how she wrapped her arms and legs around him, giving him the snuggle he needed? PERFECTION!

....myth about a jar of marbles? i'm confused.
Author's Response: There's this theory that if you put a marble in a jar every time you have sex in the first year of marriage, then take a marble out of said jar each time you have sex in subsequent years, the jar will never empty. Simply put, Jim and Pam are still gettin' busy.

Bwahahaha. This really rings true to me. I once walked several blocks with a pony saddle slung over my back on the way to ride when my dad reneged on a promise to take me riding. I learned that ten miles was a long, long way, and came back home.

Aw man, that it so true. When they lose those baby sayings it really hurts.
Also, I like this callback to what Karen said when Pam visited her in Utica: " ...had discovered that he was actually quite a good manager, when he wasn’t managing people who still saw him as the office slacker."

I like the peek into their future lives. Very sweet. Poor Jim being stunned that she called him dad. Little Cece is growing up.
