oh wow this is beautiful. You have an amazing breathtaking way with words. The tone was just so rich with happiness but at the same time this romantic and passionate tone as well. I hope I'm making sense. What I'm meaning to say is you're an awesome writer and this is wonderful! *instant favorite*

This is so perfectly sweet. Amazing job, unfold, for capturing the essence of everything that is Jim and Pam and putting in into a six hundred-something word story. I love those first two paragraphs, with the repetition of 'she is standing in front of his living room window' and her observations. I also love the last three paragraphs, how every kiss is just as important as the one before it because it took so long for Jim and Pam to be at this stage and be able to do that in addition to Jim's constant urge to protect Pam. I think I'll stop trying to justify why I like this so much - but know that this is wonderful!

Lovely. I really like this part: She sometimes feels split in two, trying to reconcile her old self with this new self. She finds the two have one constant: he has loved them both. That thought helps put her back together.
And I bet 'During Jim' is delicious.

Unfold, in case I haven't told you before, I adore your writing style. I felt as though I was there, in front of the window, waiting for the storm.
She likes to think that she did that, that each breath he pushes through pursed lips is because of her just being there. I can envision Jim being so happy, so content that he whistles. That small detail conveys such joy.
Her heart beats like hummingbird wings whenever he touches her. She’s always surprised when she comes out of it alive. Love that.
And finally: She turns her head and finds his mouth. Their kiss is soft, but like always, he gives it this pressure, like he wants to hold onto her, like every kiss is as important as the last, because he is grateful and she is grateful and they are lucky. *sigh* At long last, they're together. I envision them feeling just like this--grateful to have finally found their way to each other. ::adds to favorites::
