Dear unfold, very rarely is it that i feel such real emotion when reading fanfiction. you manage to make even the smallest details become vivid and alive. SO beautiful. do it again!

Once again, you make every detail - Penn Sta., Clinton Hill, Jim wrapped in a towel ;)... each delicate emotion...so immediate. Short but long, like the cab ride you beautifully describe. Love that.

I don't typically read or review TO fanfic anymore, but I had to sign on to review this because it's completely spectacular. Your imagery is spot on, and it reminds me so so so much of my first time traveling alone for work. I found myself spending nearly 6 weeks in Chicago and my husband (then my fiance) came to visit one weekend. After I dropped him off at the airport at 8AM, I took the L back to the hotel. It hit me right there in the middle of downtown completely surrounded by people on a Monday morning that I'd never felt so lonely. This was incredible. I really hope you keep it going for a few more chapters.
