Oh, wow, it's... it's... it's just wow. I love the way how important stuff is hidden behind their usual banter. And Pam's reaction... the open ending... I enjoy every part of it!

I loved it! UST as far as the eye can see ;D but very sweet and subtle flirting as well! Definitely something Jim would do. Saying so much but leaving so much up for interpretation too.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you! :) This was one of those that felt very fun and easy to write, almost as though it wanted to write itself. Thanks for the lovely feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

Wha.....? This..... I’m just going to steady myself over here by Dwight’s desk. Jim would definitely pull something like this.
Author's Response: I'd like to think so! Thanks so much for reading and leaving this nice, nice comment!

You are so generous. I think I may try to go for it with your permission, If I get rich, I'll split it with you,
Author's Response: Oh, absolutely! Write away! Permission granted! The great thing about derivative works and fandom is that, even though we're all inspired by the original show, we can inspire each other too! Make sure you send me a link to your fic when you write and post so I can read it! :)

I enjoyed this very much, it definitely fits wth their interactions on the show at this time. Jim using humor at the start before getting more personal, Pam feeling the need to defend herself and her choices to him but more so to herself. One trend we often saw was Jim always pushing that friend boundary in the most subtle way, but retreating immediately when Pam pushed back. The last part captures that, just as it's getting a little to personal and intimate for Pam, Jim walks away, leaving her with something to ponder. I think you may have intended this to be a canon-compliant extra scene, but I can also imagine this being the first chapter in a slighly AU fic with Pam realizing she's not happy where she is and needs to take a chance on something sometime sooner.
I wish you a full and speedy recovery with your surgery!
Author's Response:
Thanks! I generally intend to be canon compliant (it's a rare fic of mine that can't be interpreted that way), but I like that you've shown that readers can take it in another direction! I love when that happens. :) Thanks, as always, for leaving such a thorough and thoughtful comment and supporting the authors here, including myself. :)
(Recovery is going well. All in all, it will take a minimum of four months, but everything is looking good so far, which is a relief.)

Well that was original! I thought it was really well written, and found it a really interesting take on the episode!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much! I just jot down little ideas as I go through the show--some plot bunnies make it and others don't. :) Thanks for reading and commenting! I really appreciate it.

I Iiked this. It could lead to a whole story on palm reading the others. Creative
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Very glad you enjoyed it! It really could--feel free to run with that if you'd like. This will probably be the only palm reading fic I do, and I'd love to see how you write any of the other character's readings. :)

WOW! Shutterbug, this is your best fic yet! Such a perfect moment between them, as they're inching closer towards Jim's ultimate "I'm in love with you" speech. I think Pam and Jim always had that ability to communicate between the lines, whether it be through a gaze or banter. You really played on this, and it worked out so well.
Author's Response: Oh, wow--well, thank you! And I agree--I feel like they were communicating between the lines about 85% of the time (not always for the best, sometimes)! It's tough to write that kind of communication without stepping into territory that's not very believable, but I'm really glad it worked for you! Thanks for reading and commenting! I really do appreciate it. :)
