No, I think this Karen is perfect for this story and compares nicely to canon Karen.
The main difference for me is that I pretty much despise this one immediately due to her sneaky, manipulative, and generally bitchy ways.
Canon Karen I can give a pass up until traveling salesmen/the return when she allowed herself to be a rebound and her clingy, manipulative tendencies started to come through.

I've been curious about Pams lack of reaction towards Karen's aggression. Especially considering Pam is in charge.
I'm happy to finally see something from her, even if it was just staring.

Yeah, I think Pam's having difficulty adjusting from being half of a team, to being solo (for the 3 months Jim was in Langley) to suddenly being "in charge." She'll figure it out though ;)

Karen's role here is so perfect for her. She is going to be so much more trouble than on the show!
Loving your take on the challenge! And you are doing it so seamlessly, I would have never known this story was a part of it if you hadn't mentioned it.

Yeah, I figured since my Jim isn't actually interested in Karen, I needed to do something with her to keep her in that blocking role. I'm hoping it works out.
And thanks for that. I think some of the later days will be harder to do smoothly, but I'm interested to try.
