I am enjoying this FF so much that I had to open my account early just so I could comment on how much I love your writing. It's the little things like "marrying into a family that drinks hot chocolate water" that really bring this to life. Your use of metaphorical language, the descriptions you come up with and the parallels you drop in do not go unnoticed and are what excite me as I devour your chapters. I know I'm late to the party on this story but since I'm still playing catch up I am so excited to see what's in store for JAM in your narrative and hope you will see this review. As a new FF writer myself, I find your style inspirational and aspirational. Really well done. Never ever ever give up (writing, that is).

So I have to admit, I just got done with my second read through of this fic because it's just that good. I love the way you put so much detail into this relationship. How real you made the characters. I'm usually one to prefer canon-correct stories rather than most AU's. Not so with this one. Thanks for a great read.

Whew! Now that I've gone back and reread this a second time, I think I've finally soaked in all of the awesomeness. Because there was a lot of awesome in this story.
My favorite part of the last chapter was Pam's declaration of wanting to wearing Jim's name. My favorite part of this chapter was the progression of what that actually meant through the years and how it just got better with time.
This chapter wrapped up the entire story so perfectly, but it's also a lovely standalone. You know, like "Second Story!" and well, it made me feel all of the feelings and you're just a really great writer. :)

So lovely. I just adore stories that send them on their paths a little bit differently from the way the show did, and you’ve done it so beautifully. It’s so different from how they ended up but it’s so believable and true to their characters and to be honest, I kind of prefer it. I love the idea of them supporting each other in their dreams simultaneously and neither one of them wasting their potential at DM. I am sad to see this go but know that you have lots of other wonderful things up your sleeves for us!

Oh, this was lovely! I think my favorite part of this chapter was around the middle, beginning when Pam misunderstood his "I can't do this" and continuing through to the end of that scene. The dialogue was spot on and in character and that line about wanting to wear his last name on her shirt? Good stuff!
