I wasn’t expecting to love your Ryan, because... Ryan. But, I thought you captured him really well. I really liked his double meaning laced conversation with Jim. It’s nice to see Jim in master salesmen mode!
Author's Response: Thank you! I hate him too!

This story has been just a constant pleasure to read each day-ish or so! You've been amazing at updates and your research is certainly not going unnoticed! It's so detailed and precise, but in a way that stays in line with the characters. Wonderful job!
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate hearing that, and I'm really glad you're along for the ride!

Hook, line, and sinker. The two master manipulators of the office face off. Tune in next time when we find out... Who. Is. Deadliest.
I have no clue why I'm reviewing in the format of deadliest Warrior.
Author's Response: I think we all know who is deadliest. Thanks for the review!

Okay, to be honest, I didn't expect at all that artsy-fartsy Pam Beesly was (and is) such a sports fan. But, I guess, it's quite logical (unexpected, but still logical) and it's nice to look at the character from a different angle :)
Author's Response: I think she'd have to be, to survive relationships with those guys. Also remember who said she was artsy-fartsy! But thanks :)

What a sweet last lin
Jellybean
Author's Response: Aww, thanks!

How do you manage to inject a moment of pure sweetness into every chapter without it coming across too cheesy? Somehow you make it work every time. This was lovely. I like Pam’s enthusiasm for a sport she doesn’t really understand, and all the justification as to why that may be.
I’m looking forward to seeing how they go with Ryan/Jan!
Author's Response: Thank you! I think it's the pacing that lets me do that--an update a day means it feels longer between moments than it is.

Great to see that they can enjoy a sports game like this. Yes they're making up for lost time, and in the best ways possible.
Short and sweet this time, but still good.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think this would actually be the ideal early date for them, so I hope it worked for you!

Short but sweet. Not really much else to say about this one. Thanks for writing!
Author's Response: Thank you! We'll have more meat soon, I promise!

It seems like they'll have pretty busy days, but I'm wondering how much attention, in fact, they'll pay to rugby, opera, and another rugby?
I have a feeling that not so much...
Author's Response: Thank you! You'll see ;)

I just love this story and the way they interact with each other. Keep the chapters coming!
Jellybean
Author's Response: Thank you! I will.

This is just so lovely. You’ve described the easiness that they have with each other so well. This chapter was just a breath of fresh air in my day. Definitely still enjoying them!
Author's Response: Thank you! I really enjoyed writing it so I'm glad it worked for you!

You impress me every chapter with the quality of your writing. Jim and Pam always feel so in character and this chapter is no exception.
I really enjoyed how you described the moment of Pam leaning against Jim as just being, because to me it was like "Pam, this is what was missing, this is what a healthy relationship feels like".
Keep up the good work, and hats off to you for managing to get daily updates out.
Author's Response: Thank you! As you can see some of the updates are getting shorter ;). But I find it actually helps to keep to the schedule, so that I keep up momentum.

Absolutely, I am (still enjoying this)! In reply to your note! I'm glad it's not ending yet, and I'm having a good time meandering around Sydney with these two!
As always, their dialogue is spot on. I feel as if we are getting to see so much of who they are off camera that we didn't get to see in the show, eventhough none of this happened in the series.
I also am totally out of jellybeans (have been for a long time), but I keep clicking that box just in case, because you deserve them!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you find this realistic, because I was a bit worried it would seem too much too soon.

Considering how long this story is by now, it can sometimes be a challenge to remember they're been together less than a week at this point. Good introspection on Jim's part. I love seeing his relief and delight that things are going so well with Pam.
Likewise it's good to see her acknowledge some of the harm done in the past and attempt to reconcile it. They're caring for each other in lovely ways and it's a joy to read.
Same with the quiet moment looking at the Opera House. Just a wonderful moment that adds to just how nicely you've got them paired together.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, it's hard for me to remember at times too--but we're roughly 2 days into their actual relationship. Doo doo doo doo doo.

I'm slightly embarrassed to confess, but I had to google to get the 'Friggitoria' joke... The educational function of fanfiction as it is, and I love this!
Also the whole line 'I already knew everything I needed to know about Australia before I came here' is so sweet... but Pam is kinda not the best tourist in the world :)
Author's Response: I mean, she's not. At least in this story. And it's always fascinating to know what is American-specific slang! Thanks :)
Date: April 23, 2020 12:07 am Title: Chapter 46: Breakfast
Umm... I had to look “frigg” up on Urban Dictionary to make any sense of the jokes about the restaurant name. So, thanks for that education I guess. I feel like Pam doesn’t have to worry too much about saying it in public - I don’t think it’s common slang here at all. (Or maybe that’s just me, who knows).
That was a super sweet end to the chapter!
Author's Response: Interesting to find out what's American-specific slang! But I don't think Pam any more than I would know that Australians don't use it ;). Thanks!

Aww 🥰

I really enjoyed the back and forth in this chapter, and the ending line was a jem.
Author's Response: Thank you! I enjoyed writing it :)

Lovely way to get them going to breakfast, though it's also lunch time now considering how long they slept, so brunch? Sure, we'll call it that, yes? Yes.
Delightful banter between them as well as an adorable line there at the end.
Author's Response: Yes, brunch. The place in question opens at 10 am. Thank you!

Apparently, deep inside, I'm still a teenage girl because I couldn't stop giggling while I was reading this chapter.
Not a bad morning at all!
Author's Response:
So was I and I never was a teenage girl, so...
Thanks!

Adorable! You’ve well and truly scratched that trope itch...
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad to hear it.

"and he’d needed to change the subject or not stand up for an hour."
Another one of your gem lines that just makes one grin.
Loved that they just collapsed into a small bed and passed out. Even more fun is the size of the bed which of course means they're pressed so close to each other. Calls of nature not withstanding, also fun to imagine them just tumbling off the side in mess of sheets, arms, and Pam's flyaway hair. Loved that.
Also that she just cuts him off with a kiss like that. Even on waking she's still going for that Guinness World Record of Number of times Jim Halpert can be befuddled. Go get it Pam.
Yup, that's a pretty good morning all the way around.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think this is a fun day for them. At least I hope.

You were indeed in time for bedtime yet again.
One does wonder why Dwight rarely fact checks Jim with a quick google.
Enjoyable and well written as always. Looking forward to the next one.
Author's Response: Thank you! And I think Dwight enjoys the game as much as Jim...
