Happy to see everything all coming together, sad that it means the end of an era. I've been reading this story every night for almost 3 months now, so I'll be sad to see it end.
You have done a fantastic job keeping this going that long though, and I think you deserve a break! I'm looking forward to seeing how you wrap this up, and then whatever else you move on to writing.
Author's Response: Thank you for sticking with this so long! I think it's important to actually tie things up and not just let it go on forever, because endings are important--but it is odd to actually think about this ending.

Oooh, this is a great twist on canon. Way to throw them even further into the possibilities that open up for them in this world. I love the idea that by making one different choice (Pam following Jim to Australia) the trajectory of their lives/and their Dunder Mifflin lives is completely transformed.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think the butterfly effect is strong here...

I'm both delighted and sad.
Delighted, because it seems like Jim and Pam are about to make a significant step in their lives. And it's incredible!
And sad, because this journey is nearing the end. I know those good things won't last forever, but still...
Author's Response: I'm glad you're delighted, and flattered you're sad. Thanks for sticking with this!

As much as I've loved this story, it's nice to see there is an end goal in mind. I love that they're being so supportive of each other. That was something we saw a lot in later seasons and its great to see it here too.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think it's time to get this over with--not in a bad way, but in the sense that this could just go on forever and lose steam and I'd rather not let it.

I bet that talking about art is much more fun than joking about previous boyfriends!
And, I guess, I might be a liiittle more helpful for Jim's career :)
Author's Response: Right? That was a mediocre at best prank, Karen. And thanks :)

Short and sweet to be sure. Like others have said, it's a treat to watch this version of Jim and Pam mingle. So much less tension. It's just wonderful to read.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

This is so much nicer than the canon evening with Karen. I like that you had Pam connect with David Wallace’s wife. It’s so lovely to find Pam and Jim in a relationship where they both feel supported, you brought this out really well throughout this chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think their relationship needs to move, don't you? And in this case, I want it to move towards support and comfort, not angst.

Glad Pam has something to do there, I was worried she'd be bored while Jim shot hoops!
Jumping back to the start of the chapter, I really loved the mutual support thing they have going on there.
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate you noticing the small things at the start :)

Awww, the returning of koala Dwight was so nice! As well as new comment from Gil — of course, it had to be different, since Pam went through changes, that affected her art, sooner.
And I like that Jim really tried to support Pam not only praising her work (and I'm sure they're worth praising) but talking about art in general and discussing the works of her classmates. That means more than all 'your art was the prettiest of all the art' in the world.
Author's Response: Thank you! I am glad you picked up on the point about how Jim engages with her work.

This was lovely. Way to build upon elements from canon, like Oscar and Gil. I absolutely loved that they still called her canon work motel art, but could see the depth in her newer/this AU inspired art. It makes all the sense in the world that resolving things earlier with Jim has meant she has art with even more feeling to display here.
Interesting choice to have Jim recycle Roy’s canon comments, but I’m very glad you expanded on it somewhat and made it a whole lot more his. That last line was super cute too.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think it's valuable to keep recognizable moments--even if I change who says them ;)

The prettiest art line is pure cheese in this new context, loved it. Gils comments showed a nice growth and progression in Pam's work, and that was really nice to see. Of course one can't forget Michael, and one of his gem moments.
Great chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! Cheese is a specialty...

I liked the nod there to the Finer Things Club. Nice job to add in a little extra context to that.
I'm really glad you left in the exchange with Micheal. That's one of his best scenes in the series in my mind. Here with Jim standing next to her it feels like it means even more. Good choice in keeping that in.
Also fun to see the "prettiest of all the art," used in this context too. After the more serious discussion, using those lines as a more carefree fun teasing banter-ish delivery felt a lot better rather than just Roy not knowing what to say. Nice translation of the line into this AU.
Author's Response: Thank you! I feel like that is a very important chapter in the Michael-Pam relationship, and I really wanted to keep it in.

Beesly’s dorky dance moves!
I loved this chapter, such a refreshing take on a usually sad episode, I like what you’ve done with it. ‘Maybe the R stands for Refrigeration’ made me giggle, well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! I had fun with it, and I'm glad it came across well.

'Mark nodded, he nodded, and the two of them turned back to their respective dates.'
I don't know why, but this line made me giggle.
I'm glad that Pam wasn't upset too much about the 'stolen wedding' (I still can't forgive Phyllis for using Pam's ideas...) And I'm more than thrilled that vague ideas about another engagement already appeared in Pam's mind!
Amazing fix as usual!
Author's Response: Heh. Thanks! I think Phyllis is exactly the kind of person who says "all the work is already done? Sign me up." But that was not as nice in an angstier world--like the real S3. Thanks for reading!

I think i never review this story before but i really like it. Everyday i am waiting for the new chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're along for the ride. Thanks for the review!

“The R could stand for refrigerator,” Oh, I laughed. It really could knowing Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration...
I really liked the touch of Daryl looking out for Roy (& everyone else by keeping Roy somewhat contained). That was lovely.
Ah, it’s a breath of fresh air to have the dorky dancer scene not be layered in angst.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really glad you're still enjoying this.

Ahhhhhhhh.
Much nicer way for that wedding to play out. A double Pam POV chapter too. Is that the first time such a thing has happened in this fic? I could be. Her thoughts wondering if he was going to propose seemed very real. I also liked the insight on how the living together is going. No perfect, but perfect for them. Great way to describe it.
Author's Response: Technically the first part was Jim's POV--he was just entirely focused on Pam. I'm glad you're still enjoying, and thanks!

Is it bad that I wished for a really of the original Roy scene but with addes sass from Pam? Anyway, I'm okay with the yadda yadda there too, I just can't help wanting the Pam sass.
Going straight for my SciFi nerd heart with the Han Solo-ing, I will admit.
Also Pam not having all the answers to her feelings, felt pretty on point. I'd be almost disappointed if she didn't have some thoughts on being engaged again so soon.
Yet another enjoyable fixit, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thank you! I could have added that, but I didn't have specific sass in mind, so I just yaddaed it....

Is it normal that I already kinda ship Mark and Karen? Perhaps, it would be a disaster, but still...
Also, Pam and Jim's blushing game is adorable. And it's wonderful that there are houses with terraces in Scranton!
Author's Response: Thank you! I also do, just for this fic, although mostly as friends not as lovers.

I love the idea of Karen going around with them, being her rational self. The way she fits in with their lives in this season 3 is excellent!
Author's Response: I think that's what Karen could have been if they hadn't had her date Jim--she's a nice balance to the rest of the cast dynamic when she's not being jealous or jumpy.
Date: May 21, 2020 02:21 am Title: Chapter 74: Back from Vacation
Aww, a terrace! Plus, a redo jinx with 100% less angst. Such fun. I’m glad they’ve found the perfect place.
Author's Response: Thank you! Minimal angst is the goal at this point!

"And anyway, while Pam was over most nights, it wasn’t the same as living together."
*Insert sarcastic Dr. Evil voice * Riiight.
Just kidding of course. Still a nice bit of private at home banter there at the start. They really do have a lot of fun bouncing off each other like that. It's adorable to read.
Very cute with the house. Nice OC's that added flavor to the chapter. Even more fun with the terrace. Looks like they found a great place.
Author's Response: Thank you! I enjoyed the OCs--they may be a little based on my neighbors...

I was worried about you, almost broke your streak!
Lovely update, from the adorable kid to the house, I enjoyed it immensely. The jinx was another nice touch.
Author's Response: Thank you! I had a lot of fun with it. And I might be late, but I have too much invested right now to skip this (watch me fail anyway for some random reason now)...

Great to see Jim, Pam and Karen all on the same team as friends, yet still in character with the show.
I also like that conversation between Karen and Pam about Ryan. Muppet indeed!
Thanks for writing!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you found it in character--I worry as the AU moves on that they might drift.

The best version of season 3 I've ever read. Now it's official :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate that a lot!
