I like this story. I hope you ´ll update it.

Honestly I think I could read them on the phone nonstop. You write it so well! I loved the little scene with Jim and Karen. Take a hint, Fillipelli, damn! I am looking forward to future phone calls and an in person meeting! Great job!
Author's Response: I am so pleased to hear that! Thank you so much and I felt like I should include Jim's life outside of his phone calls with Pam. Thank you so much!

Well, this is all kinds of lovely. It definitely changes the tone of Jim in Stamford to have Pam in his corner like this. I like that he’s aware of what’s going on with Karen, but is maintaining some boundaries. I’m with Jim - hopefully we’ll get to see them back in the same room!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, it is so kind of you to say that. I feel like with Pam in his corner, Jim can do anything and I also feel like Jim would be able to keep his boundaries when it comes to Karen with Pam in his corner. Hopefully they will be able to meet again, but you'll have to wait and see.

So sweet! Karen’s kinda creepy in this story 😅
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Another great update. Clear signs that Jim's heart is healing. How could it not with daily calls from Pam along with all the text messages as well. After such a big shock I kinda like that. Injuries rarely heal quickly so this adds an element of reality to the story. However I love that Jim is determined now to get back to Pam in a face-to-face setting.
Interesting take on Karen. Nice balance as well. Clearly Karen' into Jim. He's just trying to be friendly. A few potshots from Karen there as well. Maybe this time since Jim's heart is on the mend, he'll be able to see some of those signs earlier and thus not doom them all into the season long rebound heartache we saw in canon.
Great writing.
Author's Response:
I am pleased that you like how Jim's heart is healing and yes, I think if we all had daily conversations with Pam then we'd all find our hearts healing. I think Pam would like a face to face meeting too.
Karen was difficult to write, but I found in season 3 it was very obvious that Karen was definitely into Jim from the beginning. Jim is always friendly I think and perhaps you'll be right about Jim reading the signs.
Thank you so much!

I’m loving this so far! His name for her on his phone was hilarious. Can’t wait to read more.
Author's Response: I am so happy to hear that and I am glad you thought that. Thank you so much.

This chapter breaks my heart and mends it again. And again. And again.
I hope that the day they find themselves in the same room comes as soon as possible!
Thank you :)
Author's Response: I'm glad to hear that it had such an effect on you. I just hope that by the end of the story your heart will be in one piece. Maybe they will find themselves in the same room, but who knows? Thank you so much for a lovely comment. :)

Karen's kind of oblivious here isn't she. I mean, at least S3 Karen didn't have Jim reacting to Pam normally...
Nice story though. I'm really enjoying it.
Author's Response: She is kind of, but I feel that season 3 Karen never really saw who Jim actually was in many ways. I am glad you're enjoying and thank you for your lovely comment.

Ahhh, this was great! What a wonderful set up. Lovely imagery of Jim in his Stamford apartment, my heart hurts with the misery of it all. I loved Pam starting to move into her new apartment quietly, before breaking it to Roy. That’s very sensible and well planned of her - which totally fits with Pam. She’s not a spur of the moment girl of girl. She thinks things through. I hope there’s more to come of this!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I agree with you about Pam not being a spur of the moment type of person and I appreciate that you liked that part. I am writing more of this, hopefully a happier chapter than last time though. Thank you very much!

Oh, please, continue! This story is so good, in that achingly and angsty way that makes you desperate for more (and for the happiness in the end ;))
And the final line... gah, I'm almost crying at this. So... thank you!
Author's Response:
I am writing chapter two and I am thrilled to hear that you want me to continue. I'm so happy to hear that you want me to write more and that you liked the last line. Thank you so much! :)

This was so sweet! I hope you plan to continue, although it could definitely stand alone as is. But more, please!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I am writing chapter two at the moment but I am delighted that you think it could be a stand alone.

Hope you are continuing this. Lovely.
Author's Response: I am writing the next chapter today and it should be out soon. Thank you and I am glad you think it is lovely.

For a subject that's been done quite a bit on the archive, this was really good. I was wondering how you'd take it. It does all seem to fit with them. Jim just sitting there being numb with a glass of Scotch. Alone in his thoughts. Hard to see him like that.
The idea that Pam sneak moved out to her new apartment was brilliant. I'm not sure I've seen that idea before so that was good.
Then of course their tearful and emotional conversation here. Great to see them being honest. I can very easily see this happening. Kind of funny how Jim had her name in his phone. Nice touch.
Great start. Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: I do realise that it is often written about on the archive and I appreciate that you think it is good. I hope you'll like how I choose to carry on. I was rewatching season 3 and I couldn't get the image of Jim with a glass of scotch out of my mind. It was quite hard to write about him like that. I appreciate that you think that you that having Pam sneak out was a good idea - I don't really know how it happened, but once the idea was there I couldn't stop myself from including it. I felt that in this season Jim and Pam needed to be honest no matter how hard it was and I felt like Jim would do that to avoid calling Pam. Thank you so much for your lovely review and I hope you'll continue to enjoy it.

Awwww 🥰 so angsty and fun. What a great start to this story. Looking forward to reading more
Author's Response: Thank you! I am so pleased that you think that and I am working on chapter two right now.

Brought a smile to my face, I liked it.
The dialogue in the middle seemed a little off to me, the shift in mood there was a bit jarring.
Overall though, great job, and I look forward to reading more!
Author's Response: I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the chapter and that it made you smile, honestly it is some of the best praise I think anyone can hear. I apologise for the dialogue in the middle, it has been over six months since I have last written and I am hoping to improve on it over the few chapters, but I appreciate you giving me a goal to work towards. I'm delighted that you are looking forward to reading more. Thank you!
