Jam intended, but we'll see how they get there. I feel at this point in the show Jim wasn't exactly ready to be making proclamations, so he might be gunshy.

I was MAD mad until that last paragraph. I kept thinking Roy is so dumb and going back to that line in the series where Pam wishes she had just realized sooner that he wasn't right for her.
AND THEN YOU CAME IN WITH THAT LAST PARAGRAPH! Honestly, I am so excited to see this new take on what this looks like. Please don't let them get back together. I'll still read because I was really into this story, but I just love Jam.

Pam certainly has a bumpy road ahead... She may realize later that she still lives with the oaf.

Go Pam! After that classic jerk move from Roy, yeah, good for her to take off the ring and throw it in his face. Wish we would have seen that in canon. Ah well, that's what fanfic is for.
Lots of ways this could go. Is Roy going to try and chase after her? Will Jim see this as his opportunity to escape the friend zone? Will Pam say no to both of them and take some time to figure herself out before getting involved with another guy? Lots of way this could go and I'm excited to see where it leads.
