It's good! I'm very much a supporter of getting things done to break writers block, and this was both lovely and self-contained so it didn't require more.
Author's Response: Thank you for the kind review! I was just sitting there going "But I want to be over here..." planning out plot points. Wouldn't say it was a full on block, but it could have used more fibre.

Aww, it's a sign of a true happiness that even Todd Packer couldn't be able to ruin the mood! And I really like that Jim and Helene are so casual with each other (I'm sure Jim wouldn't dress up to impress Pam's mom!).
Lovely chapter and I'd like to see that happens next!
Author's Response: Just another day at work for Jim, no sweater hiding around or funny hair-do! Glad to hear you liked it, thanks for reviewing!

I love Jim and Helene’s rapport. It felt very natural, but also subtle enough for the office.
I don’t mind that not much happens, that fits with canon incredibly well. The Office was never about super dramatic plot twists. The simple day to day is what makes it so great!
Author's Response: Glad to hear that you didn't mind not much happening, I appreciate you reviewing!

Aww Helene! This feels (appropriately) like early and not late season Helene so I love it--sucker for those stories.
Author's Response: Glad you like this Helene, I didn't have much to go on! Thanks for reviewing!

Short but sweet. You still managed to capture the feeling of the episode in question, but the changes that are there due to Pam and Jim now being together and nice to see. I really like how Jim and Helene are getting on. Bodes well for the future. Nice update.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing, I'm pleased that you liked the tone of the chapter!

I'm excited to see the sequel!
And the thing I like the most - the way that their new relationship status basically didn't change their communication.
Oh, and 'How dare you' moment! That's sweet :) I wonder how you're going to blend season 2 and 4 in the next chapters!
Author's Response: I'm happy to hear that you're looking forward to it! Thanks for reviewing!

I’m really looking forward to this sequel! I love season 2 and 4, so it’ll be exciting to see them almost come together :)

Oh, all this banter was very cute! Nice to see the sequel is in play.
“Do I need to bring my mother along?” This gave me a good chuckle. What a strange first date that would be, with both mothers in tow...
Author's Response:
Don't tempt me Jenna, I still have yet to draft that...!
I'm glad you liked the banter, that's always a tough one to get the feel for.
Thanks for reviewing!

The sequel! Yeay

Aww! I liked this a lot. Nice to see a sequel, and I do think it was a good idea to make it a sequel and not just a continuation.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it!

That "how dare you " scene is one of my very favorite JAM moments! Glad to see it used here!
I've always pictured Pam's mom as the first Helene, not the second, as I felt like her personality matched Pam's better. Which one are you going with here?
I like the idea of seeing how Pam's mom interacts with Jim early on in their relationship, so I'm excited to see how that all works out a
Thanks for writing!
Author's Response:
Yeah, a favourite moment for myself as well, I just couldn't resist throwing it in there.
This is definitely younger and hip Helene, not dating Michael Helene ;)
Thanks for reviewing!

JAM 6.0 is already a favorite! Can't wait to see where you take this!
Author's Response: Thank you! I look forward to writing it!

Great to see you starting this out. Lovely on point JAM banter in the car there. The kiss on the cheek and the "how dare you," were super cute. Really looking forward to seeing your version of S2 but with Jim and Pam together. Should be loads of fun.
Author's Response: Thank you! That scene was always one of my favourites, the giddiness is contagious. I'm hoping it'll be a lot more fun, no more going home to a fiance after a date kind of thing...Â
