I’m also very excited you gave us another update for this story!
Leave it to Jim to think it’s Pam who is in the wrong while he tries to come off as superior. 😡
It looks like Jim didn’t do a background check on Pam after seeing her a few times. Then again would her job at the CIA even come up to the FBI?
I hope Pam knocks Jim down a few pegs with her own work as an operative. It wouldn’t hurt Jim to get a kick in his ego sometimes. I can’t help but be curious how Jim works as a FBI agent and someone with his own sports company.
Do you think we could get a version of this story from Jim’s POV. I can’t help but wonder what he has been doing all the time he and Pam have been apart and even perhaps what his life was like at DM when Pam left. Did he watch the documentary as well which made him see how Pam had feelings about him too?
What happened with Karen? When I reviewed the last story you said Jim had been going through a tough time for a few years so can’t help but wonder what you meant by that.
Please Please Please update soon! 🙏

I really enjoyed this and it feels open-ended enough that maybe you might feel like adding some more to it in the future?

Ok now you’ve opened this back up, I’m so fully invested, you can’t just say you might sporadically update!!! I adore this and want the whole full story!!!

Nice to see an update here. Looks like old habits die hard with these two. Pam still loves art. Jim is still protective of her. Feels like there chemistry is still there however. It's buried of course, but still there. It would be fun to see how this one all plays out.

In really enjoyed this, and great to see Pam’s evolution. I know it was a one-shot, but it would be great to see a follow-up one day. Amusing that they might even get together and not know about the other’s secret life!

Well, much as I hate a story where Jim and Pam going off in different directions, I kinda love the idea of all this producing an exciting, fulfilling life for her - and you've made it work really organically, which is really impressive given the subject matter.

I love this story.
I can’t believe you ended it with that cliffhanger!
For a minute there I thought you were going to have Pam get with another CIA person named Jack Ryan, who just happened to look just like Jim. LOL
Please give us a sequel!
I’m really interested in finding out how Jim became an FBI agent, but I especially
want to know what season 3 was like from his POV, and watching Pam leave DM.
Plus finding out what happened afterwards with Corporate and Karen.
Would they still be together (puke)?
For example, would Jim have watched the documentary?
Please give another story in this JAM universe!

Author's Response: Jack Ryan is actually Jim's cover as an FBI agent ;) He's had a rough few years away from Pam, I'm sure. I'll try to add a few snippets!

Well that had a lot of drama, and I liked the concept and your execution of Pam's slow changes. I'd be interested if you ever wanted to continue it--we need more spy fic on the archive!

Author's Response: It definitely doesn't come close to your spy masterpiece, which I adore--but I'm really glad you liked it!

oooooof! I love this? I love this. First, I always liked the idea of S3 Pam leaving/quitting, but to CIA is just amaze cherry on the top. You have written her growth along with angst so well. Please tell us there is more! Also loving the name Morgan Fischer :))

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm so happy you like the name ;) There are snippets, but I might post it anyway!

Come on! You can't leave us like this. I know the premise was outrageous, but I loved it. Please give us one more chapter. Pretty please😍

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading! I love crazy premises :) I'll try to clean up some snippets!

Ok, that was great. I'm not really a fan of angst, and it saddens me when JAM doesn't get their act together, but nonetheless I can appreciate this story. I was disappointed when I went back to the table of contents and saw it marked complete! Please share more, it's a lovely idea and I can't stop my self from holding out hope that they would find their way back to each other in the (hopefully) coming events. Jim not smiling back hurt. Please fix.

Author's Response: Thanks so much!!! I can try to fix it, but it might just make it worse. I'll try my best!

I love a good spy drama. I’m so here for this CIA twist.
Giving back the teapot? Just rip my heart out and stomp on it?! Ugh.
“They don’t keep in touch.” The angst. Oh the angst.

“You’ve gotta take a chance on something sometime, as your friend once said.” Okay, I love this. This is honestly the best Pam goes to art school story - it’s such a far fetched premise, but that’s what makes it so great.

Yeah, okay. I’m going to need you to take that endnote and write the whole story. I’m not kidding. I love this. I love the idea of this. I love the endnote.

(I literally just finished rewatching Covert Affairs and I’m so in the mood for cute spy drama JAM!)

Author's Response: Thank you so much!!! Not sure I have a full-fledged story, but I do have a few extra scenes I might put in. Spy drama JAM is always adorable.

So yeah, that was differnt. A huge departure from canon, but still Pam saving herself. In that regard I did like it. Also a bit of tease there with Jim at the end. A Jim without anyone on his arm no less. Don't mind me, I'm just going to sit back and head-canon your final authors note as to the conclusion of this story and that eventually they do find their way back to each other.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, warrior4! The way I see it, they'll inevitable fall toward each other here--it's just spiced up with spy intrigue instead of pranks this time.

It wasn't silly at all.
It was beautiful and heartbreaking, and I'm fighting t my tears back right now. The moment when Pam returned the teapot to Jim utterly broke me. This story feels so, so real, and that's why it hurts so much...
Probably, I'm overly emotional (and I probably have to learn to read tags before reading the stories), but the world there Pam and Jim are not together is so unjust. I just can't help myself with it.
And yet, this story is amazing. You're amazing. Thank you for sharing!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words!!! In my mind, even in this story, they always, always get together eventually ;)
