Finally getting around to this one...

first let me say I very much enjoy the way you write scenes with a descriptiveness (is this a word?) that illustrates without overdoing it. It makes the reader feel like they are there rather being told what they are seeing.

*On the drive home, Pam told Jim about the two students she found making out in the janitor’s closet when she went to find some more paper towels for her classroom and how Michael mixed up the words “physics” and “psychic” in an email to her.* - this just tickled me - *D*

And this feels very Jim and pregnant Pam -

*Are there any Thai places that also serve chips and salsa?"

"If there aren't, there should be," he said, mouth full of apple.*

All Jim's good intentions to take the night to tell her being ruined by Karen (even if not her intention) was a twist not expected but well played.

Skipping to the end - again I feel like I was there on the car ride and then in the room. And that last line....ouch.

Nooooooo! So glad to have this story back! A real pleasure to read.

I love this story soooo much! What a delight to see it back! I’m the biggest fan of AU Office stories featuring Jam and I love this one, especially with a baby on the way and new beardy Jim and high school teachers with a crazy principal! Pleeeeease don’t make use wait longer than 18 months! I loved that Jim skipped practice for Pam, but like most things, waiting for a big discussion you’re avoiding will only yield bad things… confident that Jam can work this out, but it’s a rough night tonight. I think it’s even worse that Pam doesn’t seem furious, just sad and quiet and disappointed. Thanks for returning to this fave!

I only just read this the other week, so was excited to see an update. But 18 months for the next update? What? No!
That last line is just heartbreaking, please don't leave it there!

Wow. Way to come back and just punch me in the face. I love that this year we’re almost getting a season 9-like story, itll be so fun (and so, so painful) to see how they go through it in teacher world. Pregnant teacher pam is my absolute favorite and I am soooo glad she’s back even if it means we have to go through some heartbreak. “It was the first time she had ever skipped kissing him goodnight.” I mean.. ow. I love it.

Always love an update for your fics (even if I'm 5ever late in reading and reviewing). I hope they find a place for Pam at Stanf- I mean Hazelton. Amazing job, friend!

Well, I have to admit I did not see this coming in this mostly fluffy story - a Season 9 AU! It is an interesting conflict, seeing these two people who have throughout their relationship had a lot of time together without really having to carve it out dealing with a change to that routine. Ugh, Jim though - come on, man. This is not complicated. Talk to your wife. *shakes fist*

"And I know I’ve been craving salty things lately, but...this isn’t exactly what I had in mind.” Lol.

This was a glorious use of Meredith and almost certainly exactly the way canon Meredith handles parent teacher conferences.

So I thought you were going for a Season 9 twist with the whole Hazelton thing but happy with the way it went - the ending all kinds of delicious.

The whole thing was happy fun from the pizza to Meredith to the chapter end notes.

Loved all the adapted canon references here. The garbage pizza vs. good pizza. Meredith trying, and failing, to start something with Jim. And of course adding in details from this world as well. Looking at you there sex handprint turned firework. It's always fun to see details like that.

Saucy Pam there as Jim is on the phone. Yes please! Turning our confident Jim back into his teenage self, barely able to control himself in front of a pretty girl. Just all sorts of sweet, sexy, playful, loving, I mean really, pick your adjective.

Great fun with this story as always. Can't wait for more.

Okay but for real, I loved everything about this. Meredith showing up for parent teacher conferences and asking if she can persuade Jim to raise Jake's grade as Pam just laughed beside him, it couldn't have been more perfect. And then Pam being so supportive of Jim wanting to take the coaching job. Ugh. And then the little bonus scene at the end with Pam in the button down and seducing Jim while he's on the phone? Murder me. Literally stab me in the heart cuz wow I loved that. Can't wait for the next chapter, that's getting posted now, right?

Fun stuff here. I got the giggles myself from the jokes and have experienced the silent, can’t breathe kind of laughter you describe.

Even with less JAM, what there was, was still great. I've got a feeling it's the pregnancy hormones that are starting to act up with Pam and her reaction to Michael's jokes. Now granted I thought they were fun, but I'm also a Dad and thus am always looking to add to my Dad joke repitore. So there's that.

Hello Danny and Karen. That's an interesting offer. Seems like shades of S9 Athleap though time will tell as we go forward. Everything else borrowed from canon was spot on. Loved all of it.
