I was so excited to see an addition to this story! Great Jim and Pam back and forth, and such a lovely, detailed picture of a bustling home on Thanksgiving.
I'm also super-excited about the emergence of Dwight as a sort of brother who they pick on (because, seriously, it's *Dwight*) but who they also sort of try to protect from the Big Cruel World, and your inclusion of that here was awesome.

I recently read this story on another site and just came back here to re-read chapter 4. I love this story, Moxie!

I missed this one for what ever reason but now that I've read it what can I say..... You really connect with these characters. It's unbelievable. You've got me reading again. I think it was a lost art for me that I'm re discovering! LOL

"Her sensitive middle child." That is so true. I never really thought much about it, but Jim is so a middle child. You are really perceptive here and have picked up so much about Jim's character. And then you explain it to us, as only a mother could. I love this perspective.

Thanks again for another lovely story Moxie. I enjoyed meeting Jim's family

I like thinking that Jim went home to his Mom after the rejections from Pam. I like that she is such a great Mom - nice to think he has someone who loves him during all of his angst.
Wonderful descriptive narrative.

well, first off, i want to say i am only haflway through while writing this, so yeah. but also, i laughed when jim's sisters name was the same as mine. and then, i laughed with the middling mother... she meddles a lot better than my mother... my mother isway more annoyingwith her meddling. oh well. more reading now

Eek I am sort of incoherent and this made me happy in a sort of teary-eyed way and my sister is in the room so I don't want to be all ;_; and I had to go read Dwight's blog entry about beets after reading this.
I like how Jim's family is realistically portrayed. And oh I love the tiara too. Yay thanks (:

Oh. Soooooo sweet! Thanks for brightening my dull mood. You're the best! And so is Jim's Oracle Mom!

woohoo! the awesomeness of this! the characterization, the dialogue, the delight! LOVE!

I don't even know how to respond to this. I got butterflies in my stomach with the description of Jim and Pam falling asleep in the chair together. This chapter was adorable and heartwarming, only made better by the fact that Thanksgiving happens to be my favorite holiday. It made me both happy for them, and sad that I don't have a Jim, but what can you do. Fantastic job.

Oh how I love some wedding night JAM! Dwight as a groomsman -- too freaking much!!! An ingenious job with working Jim's POV into this fic, BTW. When I read the first few lines, I was afraid you'd skipped ahead of 'the good part' HA! Then when I got to the flashback, you didn't disappoint, Moxie! Merry Christmas!

Jim and the princess fantasies was such a cute ending! I just loved this chapter - both what happened Thanskgiving night and then of course, the wedding night. Thank you for such a warm, sweet chapter to brighten up my rainy day!
Author's Response: Yay! I'm always happy when I see you comment, kaystar! I'm glad to have helped cheer up your day - it's been raining here since yesterday. If only it were snow....

“I'm glad,” he replied with a smile, “I suppose now is a good time to mention the whole list of princess fantasies I'm dying to try out.”
Naughty boy! Great finish, with a nice dose of steam and banter.
Author's Response: Thanks so much - I have no idea where that line came from, I blame it on the muse of Jim Halpert!

You did a wonderful job of setting the scene for Jim and Pam. There's so much detail, that the small moments between them feel real. And of course, falling asleep in the chair together was very cute.
Author's Response: excellent - thanks for the compliments. I know it was a long chapter, but I think there was no way to get around that without losing something!

Oooo! YAY! Thank you Moxie! EXACTLY what I wanted to see!!! Lovely job with this. And the picture at the end? So perfect!
Author's Response: Thanks, xoxoxo! I was hoping it wasn't too cheesy - I felt I had to make sure you and Colette were happy with it. :-)

Ooh - this was exactly what I was hoping to get to see after Larissa caught them kissing in the kitchen! This was great Moxie!
Author's Response: thanks, amyryd - I couldn't leave you all wondering what the heck had happened!

This part of the story turned me into a schmoopy mess. It was so adorable, from Jim carrying Pam over the threshold to actually seeing what went down from their POV at his parent's house on Thanksgiving.
I love this. I hope there's more. Is there more?

A fantastic chapter. I absolutely loved the picture of them napping together. So sweet. Is there really more? Woo hoo.

Oh, I'm so glad that you went back and showed us what happened in the kitchen!!! I loved the rest of the story, but when Larissa saw them kissing and then just went back to the card room I practically died cause I wanted to see what happened!
Great writing and interesting idea. I really liked it!

Go Larissa! (Will we ever get to meet her on the show?)
I was a little skeptical when I read the first chapter, because I started thinking about Jim as a momma's boy, but really, this story is just lovely.
This chapter had me saying "awww" out loud, and Jim's final line is hilarious .
Great work!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! You know I was worried the first chapter would make him seem like a momma's boy, that's why I posted 1 & 2 together, to help take the edge off..

wow...i am up too late...but i couldn't stop reading...what an interesting perspective..

Can't believe I didn't review this chapter! Ack! Anyhow -- you are making me look forward to next Thanksgiving! And it is just like Christmas without all the shopping hassle!
I really like how you were able to capture all this from Larissa's POV. (But it does make me anxious for the Jim/Pam POV -- what can I say, I adore those two!)
And Jim in his PJ's? -- rowr! And in my imagination, he is sex on two legs in a green sweater. Pam is a lucky, lucky girl.
Author's Response:
and that's why I wish I was Pam every single day! ;-)
Thanks for the support!!

I thought this was lovely! I loved the Halpert family and the way Pam fit in.
I have one very minor gripe, and that is that you don't need a corkscrew to open champagne -- you just pop the cork right off. Much more fun that way!
All in all enjoyable and wonderful. Thanks!
Author's Response: You know - you are so right!! Talk about missing the obvious! I shall go back and fix that. Thanks for reading and for pointing that out!

AWWWWWWW OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE Larissa Halpert! Never has a mother-son fanfiction story touched me so! You really roped me into this story like it was an actual episode of the show. Thank you so much for writing this! It's the perfect story for the holidays!
One of my favorite lines:
"Hey, uh you going to dress like that for the parade?" She asked, as nonchalantly as she could.
