You continue to amaze me with your amazing stories. So cute and funny and sweet and just keep filling in similar words now, because, seriously, all fit.
"The first entire weekend we spent together, I performed the very strenuous task of emptying the dishwasher. When I looked up at her to say something, she was staring back at me…like I was God."
So, this ...so, I just wrote a story that is entitled "five small ways jim shows pam he loves her" and that was going to be one of the things - emptying the dishwasher. great minds... or, eh, your great mind, and my mind. yeah, thats more like it. (oh, and i haven't uploaded that fic yet)
"A mere mortal – not a God."
There goes my belief system </Ross - Friends>... seriously...
Those two are just so sweet and caring for each other. I loved it.

This was just beautiful and flowed so well with the lines from the song. And this line was so heartfelt - "But it’s seamless and perfect and scary how much I love him. It’s even scarier how much he loves me."

"Maybe I'm Amazed" is my all-time favorite song (the McCartney version), so it was especially nice to see it here. Great job.
lisahoo, it's definitely "Maybe I'm Amazed"

I love the thought of Jim and Pam just being happy and comfortable together. You did such an awesome job of writing the way it should be between them, the way it probably would be if they were together. I know that Pam would be amazed at the fact that Jim does simple things like unload the dishwasher, and that she would go all over the place for his favorite food.
Fabulous job, LoveFool!

Wonderful story...it's the simple things in life that makes it all worth while.

Love the 1st person POV in this -- very well done. You bring up some interesting points, like the contradiction of emotions -- and sometimes a man who will empty the dishwasher is freaking deity!! Anyhow, this is much more thought-provoking than just 'I love her/him so much...'
And is the lyric "Maybe I'm amazed" or "Baby, I'm amazed"? This is driving me crazy -- I must have heard it wrong all these years. Those guys on the commercial who don't know the words to "Rock the Casbah" don't seem so pathetic after all ("stop the catbox...")

Oh, oh, seriously, I love all your stories to tiny little bits and this one's no exception. Freaking adorable, and it makes me feel a little woozy inside: Jim and Pam are wading through lot of crap and pain and unnecessary pieces of broken hearts here and it's breaking my heart, too; but the pay-off will be good. Very good. This story just supports that.
I'm seeing the no next to the completed: option with a lot of optimism, here, and I'm sure you won't disappoint. ;)
