This has always been my go-to fantasy. What if I (or favorite tv couple) get really sick and so and so finds out and helps me and realizes from the scare how much he loves me? Granted, the scenario first came to me in 10th grade, but all these years later it still works. :)
It was nice to see you made it work for Jim and Pam too!

Man..the whole time I read this, I kept thinking about that time when those dumbass doctors thought I has appendicitis when I was 12. Grrr. They wanted X-Rays! ALL I NEEDED WAS AN IV!!!

Very cute! It's funny you gave her appendicitis, 'cause I had an attack of it the very night that Casino Night aired. So with that and your story, Pam and Jim and appendectomies will be forever linked in my mind :-) You definitely wrote the experience right, though. I seriously started feeling sick 'cause you brought it all back to me.

Hee! Oh my, I absolutely adored this! I think the whole reason I love JAM is that they care so much for one another and you really captured that here. Great job!
Oh, and I had a ruptured appendix when I was little and you described the pain perfectly. Did you have it too? Morphine is amazing! I kept pushing my little button that would give it to me and they ended up having to take it away from me, lol!
