I loved Babylon,so I decided to read some of your other stories. You write fantastic last lines. I really like this treatment of Stanley, and the way you show his sense of humor lurking beneath his bored exterior.
Author's Response: It struck me, watching this episode, that Stanley probably has a pretty mean sense of humour (like when he teased Michael about seeing Dwight all the time in The Return). Thanks for contintuing to read, Fliz0nToast!

Such a funny story. I love that Stanley got his friend in on it. And the way you described what Ryan must have been feeling was perfect.
Author's Response: Thanks!

Oh, Stanley. He is friggin' brilliant, how did you come up with that? [did you learn that on the streets?] I loved this, from the way he plans to choose Ryan just to teach him some humility [HA!] and the way he feels, second only to the way he feels on pretzel day.
And I freaking adored this paragraph:
Maybe today is the day God answers all of Stanley's prayers. He is definitely going to buy a lottery ticket on the way home. He saw on the news last night that the jackpot is up to 65 million. He'll be able to do crosswords for hours, without interruption. At the beach.
Simple pleasures. That's StanleytheManley, alright.
Wow. For a minor character [a little minor, anyway], you've got his character down.
I can't possibly explain how much I love this but I do, I really, truly love this to tiny pieces.
Author's Response: moofoot, you always say such nice things! I always loved the scenes where Stanley puts Ryan in his place (I can't explain it), like in Take Your Daughter and Boys and Girls. This episode was no exception. Thanks for much for the kind words!

Bwahaha! Oh, that was pure Stanley and completely delightful. Poor, poor punk-ass Ryan. He doesn't stand a chance.
Author's Response: Thanks, dollsome! That means a lot coming from you!

Bwahaha, I totally laughed out loud while reading this, then read it to my husband, who doesn't normally like fic but agreed this is exactly what Stanley was thinking.
Author's Response: Wow, what a nice compliment! Worth forcing onto a husband! Thanks!
