I loved this. I loved the way I could remember the words from the book but you still definitely made it your own. It was really, really good. And this is coming from someone who's read that scene like a million times. Well, okay, not as many times as the one at the end of that book, obviously, but still.
I also like the way Pam's sort of becoming FNB (or FNA?) through her art. I think one of the reasons Anne of the Island is my favorite, besides all the romance is that we get to see Anne go from being a romantic little girl to a smart, practical, but still imaginative woman.
Anyway, this is awesome as always and I'm really excited to have you finish it. Good luck getting it done before Thanksgiving!
Author's Response: Thanks, Azlin! I liked using art rather than writing for Pam, it fits in so well. And I agree about Anne of the Island, she's really awesome in that one. And I WILL get it donw before Thanksgiving, so there. ;-)

Well, that had to happen, and now Pam sees that Roy isn't the one. Can't wait until Pam comes to realize how much Jim means to her so they can make up! Does this have to end??? Thanks!

I so love this story and hope you are already writing the next chapter!! And just b/c it's based on a book doesn't mean there can't be a Jim / Pam roll in the hay scene ;-)
