Okay, so ya know what - hot is hot. Humid is what makes me go crazy. I am so glad that it finally started raining, because, seriously, you walk outside, and you just FEEL the humidity. You can't do anything without breaking a sweat. Its still a cool summer here (won't be for much longer), but gah, humitity.
Okay, so I just wrote a paragraph on weather, and all I have read is the authors note... I guess its time for me to shut up and read.

So, of course, my memory is shot, but I remember somewhere (recently, you would think I would remember the place), but it was hotter INSIDE than outside. So, I would take a walk, and be sweaty and gross, and then come inside, and it was just worse. And not fun. Where was it though?

Aww, no kicking puppies. I am however, tormenting mine with a feather (they scare the begeesus out of her).

Cute idea for a story!  I love how you got everyone's voices down - especially Dwight. It sounded just like him.

This is a good concept and I can't wait to see where you are going with it.  Is it me, or is anyone else singing, "It's Getting Hot in Here"?  Good job.

Poor Jim!  Sad because his one true love (read: human shield) is gone!  Next chapter:  Could things be heating up on the JAM front?  I like how they both noticed the sweat on the other...

When I worked in an auto plant, one of the jobs that was forced upon me as bottom head on the engineering totem pole was 'heat stress relief'.  They loaned me out to the Health and Safety department and I would walk around the plant with a high-tech thermometer and record the wet-bulb temperature.  If we got over a certain value (according to a handy chart they supplied me with) I would order extra long breaks and the distribution of popsicles for the line workers.

So basically what I'm saying is that popsicles might fit the bill here.  You know what I'm talking about.
