THANK YOU.  You can probably tell from my name how grateful I am to find stories like this.  Keep it up.  This is really well written.

Aw. Yay for Karen. And for Jim realizing stuff about himself.

Aw, this was lovely. It's nice to see Jim and Karen genuinely happy. I'm a Jim/Pam fan at heart, but I love the character of Karen so it's nice to see her get a little happiness for once! Sometimes I get sick of seeing this "Karen doesn't get Jim's humor/needs/wants and could never make him happy in the long run" attitude that tends to pop up, when I feel like the show does a very good job of portraying Karen as someone who genuinely appreciates and cares for Jim, and is frequently amused by the things that amuse him and annoyed by the things that annoy him. They have a lot in common, and I could really see them having this happy ending if Pam was no longer an issue for him.

Author's Response: I totally agree with you regarding Karen -- I think she's just tragically unlucky in that she's in the wrong place at the wrong time, and strong enough that she's willing to risk getting hurt (which will likely backfire on her in a bad way).  Thanks for the comments!

I'm laughing too hard at the pooping open a beer saga to form a coherent response.

Did you get all that out now?  Guilt absolved?

Seriously, this is really good.

Love to see a scenario where Jim does end up loving Karen, because it's getting more and more likely as time goes on.

And I thought Karen was so great here--her relief that Jim said he loved her before she gave him her news was so real.

This is such a well written story and it did make me see how Jim could fall for Karen.  Unfortunately, I can also see Karen getting preggers and leaving and Jim never knowing but the audience does.  NO!!!!

I loved the story, (although I pasted it into Word and did a global replace of "Karen" with "Pam.")  Great story nonetheless!

This was beautiful (even the pooping out a beer part made me smile.) I am a Jammer all the way and this did cause my heart severe pain but reading a beautifully written story like this was worth it.   Very well done.

ETA: I swear I didn't read the review below me before posting my almost word for word review! Yikes!

Okay, I really loved this.  I'm all for JAM, but I still enjoy a beautifully written story that ends with these two together.  You created a really great scene between them, kept it believable, and not ultra-fluffy or angsty.  Very well done :)

Good story but you might want to change the phrase: "pooped open a beer."

Author's Response: Whoa!  You're right.  That one got past the spell checker!  thanks!
