OMG --
Pam was reclining seductively against the pillows on the bed. Swathed around her slender hips like a skirt, she was wearing a fruit-patterned dish towel. Over her right breast was a matching pot-holder. On her left breast, jauntily waving at him, she had perched a fruit-patterned oven mitt. She was trying desperately not to smile.
I laughed right out loud at that (did NOT expect it)! That's hilarious -- and again, so exquisitely them. Happy sigh.

I actually laughed when I thought of the idea (based loosely on real-life events, ahem). I imagine her "trying not to smile" look as something like her "I have good cards" look on Casino Night- when the joy is just pouring out despite her efforts. Won't they have fun together? "Exquisitely them" is such a nice thing to say- you are even eloquent in reviews! How do you manage that?

Okay, this needs a new label: NSFW. I laughed out loud when Jim opened the door and found Pam reclining in a fruit-patterned dishtowel. That was so unexpected and funny and Pam! So adorable, so her. Applause, applause!

Is this the first step toward my new romance-novelist career? (Probably not!). I'm so glad you liked it!! I don't usually follow them this far, so I am relieved that it seemed in-character. It was more fun than I care to admit ;) One more chapter to go!

I really liked all these chapters. Very true to character and nicely developed.

I'm glad you explained Dobby. I had no clue! I loved the 'reveal' of what she had bought. (Fashion show upstairs! Fashion show upstairs!)
And here I thought it was going to be a maternity bra. Or a maternity top. Those things are so sexy. Is sexy the right word? And have I guessed your next chapter?
At one point when I was pregnant, I was standing in my bedroom with maternity pants (up over the big belly, Urkelina style) and maternity bra, looking ever so enormous. My kid came in the room and said lovingly, "Mommy, that's a beautiful outfit!" (It's that whole 'eye of the beholder' thing.)
This is such a nice story. My favorite is still Jim's reaction to "You'll manage; I did" and "You'll have to marry me." So many flavors of awesome.

This was sweet/funny... and glad this won't turn into more smut (my brain is breaking from skimming through the twop posts recently)...
and having never read harry potter, and only seen snippets of the movies while babysitting, i didnt know that reference, and it sounds totally and completely strange.
and a short review because it as been a long day and an even longer weekend awaits.

I've really really enjoyed this story. And this may sound weird, but what really got my interest at first was the chapter titles. I love the journey Pam has taken (with Jim's help) to become comfortable in her own skin (or own clothes, heh), and so the titles really got my attention.
This chapter was so funny! Wow, just great. And I love that Jim knows who Dobby is. He would.
Can't wait for the last chapter!

I am so excited that you mentioned the chapter titles- I have honestly worked really hard on those, which is a weird thing to admit, but since you noticed them than I guess it wasn't TOO weird.
