I apologize for not leaving you a comment sooner, because I have been thoroughly enjoying this story and looking forward to every update. You've managed to nail everyone's voice, and it's a really interesting take on the way things could have happened. It's completely sucked me in. I love it.

I just read this entire thing on lunch break, and wasn't paying attention to the chapters... then I search for NEXT and THERE IS NO NEXT!
Umm yeah, this story is wonderful and sad and funny and touching, which is pretty much the norm for the Warning Labels authors - can't wait for the next chapter.

KYRAAAAA (or should I say Krya?) HOW DO YOU DO THESE THINGS TO ME???? I haven't enjoyed a Jim/Pam scene like that in forEVER and then you come along and make my stomach all fluttery and I love you so much for it!!

Author's Response: Ooh, that's awesome, thank you!! (You know what gave me fluttery feelings recently? Rewatching some of the s2 deleted scenes; back when they were still adorable together AND I haven't utterly memorized every tic of their conversations. Try it???)

Oh, I LOVE this so far! I was so glad I waited so that I could read four chapters at once because ONE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH. It's all too perfect; every detail is spot-on and I feel like I'm reading the novelized version of S2! The layoffs and everyone wondering what they're going to do next...it's all so well done.

It's interesting how you sort of use the union-premise as a way to show the difference between Pam and Roy, too -- I don't know if you were thinking that, but I saw that. I really like this because it shows that side of Pam & Roy that we never got to see; what they were like when they got home, and actually, it makes me more sympathetic to Roy, as I was thinking about it, what it feels like to actually *be* in a relationship, and having been with someone for that long - there's certain things that you take for granted, and certain little things that just set you off and make you mad. At this point, though, I don't know if Pam ever thought about leaving Roy -- just that her relationship with Roy and her relationship with Jim were very different. (I know exactly how that feels. It's weird.)
It's so sad, too, with the office closing down, but I could definitely see that happening and now I really want to know where everything goes! Will they keep on people that didn't sign onto the agreement? Will everyone lose their jobs? What will Pam & Roy do? So many questions. ARGH I wish this was all posted at once -- I am dying to read more.
Nice job, as always. You're a great writer. ;)
Author's Response: Oh, wow, thank you so much! Yeah, when I wrote this it was partially as an answer to people who were like "why doesn't she just leave him?!" because it's obviously more complex than that, so I'm so glad that sense of their life is coming through.

Aw man! This really makes me miss S2 Jim and Pam and wish I was eating Cup O'Noodles right now (hahaha). But really, the voices are really spot on in this and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Okay, you already know I'm super-excited for this in general, not to mention the fun of reading S2 Jim and Pam with real Jim and Pam-ness. You have such a delicate touch with them, and I love all these scenes--the one of Pam in her wedding dress in particular made me get a little heartachey. Awesome awesome.

Each section of this reads like a scene from an actual S2 episode - strikes just the right balance of funny and a bit wistful. It's rare I read something where the characters' voices come through this naturally too, especially Jim's (so often his wit is over-written.) Hope you'll post more of this!

So I was drinking some Dr. Pepper when I noticed that you had posted and it was like something the Dr. ordered! Haha. I'm loving this so far - it seems like lots of JAMmy goodness is on the way!
(Also, the voices are spot on as per usual and every detail is wonderful; it's like watching those episodes all over again. Plus, I can't wait to see where the whole unionizing aspect of it goes. You=Win.)
