What an absolutely wonderful story and a thilling follow up to one of my favorites on tis site. I KNOW you have been away from this for a REALLY long timy but if you have it in you at all, PLEASE come back to and finish this. I love how the two storys cover the two distincyly different parts of Jim and Pam's live. C&W covers each back story up to how they fell in love, Jim sweeping her off her feet, her strugling to become an artist as he struggles to get rid of a mistake named Karen. I LOVE how you showed what Jim and Karen had, though it was first, doesn't even compare to Jim and Pam who basically fell in love, hard and immediately. I also loved Karen being the devious, slutty, underhanded person... and the way she talked about her kids..WOW! Anyhow, this second story shows them settling into mariage and domestic bliss yet shows plenty of heartbreak and restlessness. I actually had tears when Jim missed Amelia's birth! Anyhow, just SO wonderful. If there is ANY way at all, PlEASE find it in yourself to continue and finish this! Thanks for not one but two AMAZING stories!

KAAAAAAAREN! I am coming to get you, you evil lady. I mean something less pleasant than lady, you choose. Damn I hate her!

I loved that last line "Come on, let's go lie to Michael and go home." Priceless! Also, that bit by the bathrooms was fantastic and with Karen pregnant AGAIN, then Jim and Pam thinking she was hiding it from Kevin. Lovely. Oh. My. God. Is that Kevin... KEVIN MALONE? I always imagined him as someone else, but now that I think about it... oh my goodness!

Lastly, I just want to say, I love all of Jim's longing for Pam, very sexy - and Michael's first outburst of Pam's ass was hilarious. Oh my, this was a great chapter!

Aww, I can't believe that he wasn't there. I almost started crying when I realized he wouldn't make it. Although I'm on Jim's team here, I feel that he's let Pam down a bit, going on all these business trips when she clearly doesn't want him to. Oh well, we've got beautiful Amelia Clarissa to think about instead! I LOVE that Pam's mom is Claire, that's my name, too!

Great job, beautiful descriptions!

You have no idea how much I loved that little, excuse me LARGE outburst of Jim's earlier. That was awesome! Stupid - bleep - bleeeeeeeeeeeeeep - Karen! I absolutely hate her, trying to initiate an affair! Ahhhhhhh! Blech.

Okay, end of gripe. I love the little pregnancy test bit, can't wait to see the results (and for Jim to quit his job and be with Pam more, just kidding!)

Oh man, I just LOVED that conversation with Karen. The glass of wine was hilarious, and the introduction at the end, PRICELESS.

Fabulous chapter. And stupid little bastard Filipelli that she's pregnant and that she had to go and make Pam jealous. BTW, Karen has no right to be calling him Halpert anymore! That's a special privilege! Sorry, I meant that to be a ten! Ooops!

Oh my goodness, I loved Phyllis and Andy, especially that little line about him being afraid of heights. So cute! Great chapter, and I love how romantic are love birds are being!

Okay, I just finished reading this story and "Charcoal and Watercolors." They were both AMAAAAZING. It's always so fun to stick Pam and Jim in a Dunder Miffinless world and see what happens. I'm only sad that this is not finished and concerned about the chances for an update, seeing how long it's been. Please, please continue!

I just read this whole story and I love it! I love how their marriage is so real. They're not blissed out all the time, they have their issues, but no one is talking divorce or anything. Great job. Please update, I want to know what happens next!

Seems like pretty controlling, almost passive aggressive behaviour for our Jim.  I would have been angrier than Pam if my sig other was planning a move like this and wasn't discussing it with along the way.  Interesting path...

HOLY CARP!  Where did the move to Boston come from?  I thought they had everything solved that Evil!Karen was behind everything!  I suppose this means you have me right where you want me, but you already knew that...

Author's Response: Haha, and that was why there needed to be a chapter between where the last left off and the next one is going to begin. :) I figured that having them suddenly living in a new city (or in the process of moving to a new city) the next chapter would really throw people off. Now you all know that it's coming. :)

througout this series karen has pissed me off, but now, now i just feel compelled to kick her ass.  that's not a good thing, but it is good that i can feel this strongly about a fictional story.  keep up the good work :)

Author's Response:

Well, ex-wives can be evil. :) And it's always fun knowing that someone has such strong feelings for a fictional story. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right.

Thanks!!

Welcome back IKTMIT.  I've missed this story and enjoyed the excitment of this chapter.

Author's Response:

Haha, whenever I see someone abbreviate my screenname I always have a WTF?!? moment. I'm a little slow sometimes...haha. :)

I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter!

A HA!  That sneaky Karen is behind everything bad that happens to Jim & Pam!!!  Glad to see you updating again!

Author's Response: And the funny thing is, when I started writing this story, I didn't even know if Karen would be a part of it! I never planned on her being as pivotal to the storyline as she ended up being. :)

Well, well, well, who could be behind this?  Ok, everyone, don't yell her name out loud...

Enjoying this immensely.

Author's Response:

If you say her name three times in front of a mirror in a dark bathroom... :D

So glad that you're enjoying it, really, honestly. I've been planning this one from the beginning, so I hope that it turns out as well as I envision it in my mind.

Thank you for the review!!
