Ok, so this is basically the weirdest thing ever: I clicked on your story thinking, 'huh, have I read this fic yet'?  And then I see the story notes about Transatlanticism.  Which I was listening to at that moment.  WHOA.

And I hadn't read your story before, but I love it, and am moving on to the next chapter now...more review to come :)

Author's Response:

Its such a beautiful song, I was absolutely floored the first time I heard it.  That is so funny that you were listening to it when you clicked on this story!  It was fate! haha.

I'm so glad you like it!  More to come soon!

"He turns to look at her; in her eyes he sees the same tragedy that emanated from his own reflection for years.  It still does, though he doesn't admit it. "  This was beautiful.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!  I am glad you liked it :-)

First *adds song to download list*

It was really good and descriptive, and I love the way the words were.

Sorry, my brain isn't awake enough yet to think of normal thougts. But I like it.

Author's Response:

Thank you!  I am glad you liked it :-)  Yes, you must download this song - I like most of Death Cab's music but this particular song is so beautiful and moving.. and kind of haunting.

thanks for reading and reviewing!!

It took her four days to stitch her resolve back together. That's an amazing line.  Just wonderful.

I'm not sure when this is set, so I'm not sure exactly what he knows that he has to do.  The writing is beautiful, though, and I did enjoy it.

I like "he realizes she isn't adding a new song for him to listen to, she's scrolling through his playlists".  That's really neat, and the "same tragedy that emanated from his own reflection for years".

Author's Response:

thanks for the lovely review!  I am so glad you liked those lines, its always helpful to know those kinds of details.  I appreciate it very much!

I did leave the ending very open, partly because all my ideas are things that make Pam and Jim realize they love each other but I never know what to write beyond the moment of realization for them both.  For me, its much more satisfying and therapeutic to write about that moment than anything else.  So once I reach that then I feel stuck and just decide to leave it up to whatever interpretation you'd like :-) Though I may try my hand at writing what happens next in the future.

thanks for reading :-)
