Author's Response: Well, I'm sure they would have been happy to include her - but in that reality, she's not been introduced into the documentary yet - it's only coming up to the end of what we know as season 2. So no one would know who the hell she was. Poor Karen. ;-)

thank you muchly, desert! I know it sounds mean leaving Karen out, but there really is an acceptable reason for it in the story: the documentary hasn't reached the point where Jim goes to stamford, so everyone would be like "Karen who??" :-)

This is brilliant. Which makes sense because you, my friend, are brilliant! I love, love, love that though Ryan is Micheal's boss, Dwight still says "Damn Temp". I don't have to try very hard to hear Dwight still saying that very thing, come season 4. I can't wait to read the rest of this :D

Author's Response: Oh yes I did! :-) Karen's exclusion is actually not a slight by anyone in that reality. The show on tv in that universe is only in our season 2 - Karen and Scranton haven't been introduced yet. Why would she be in the spread then?
