I think the character descriptions are insightful and thoughtfully written. Also I like the dramatic mood you set around the desk and the kiss.
I love this line: She lost her breath, and was also losing her friend. I think that Pam knew right then and there that after Jim's confession that nothing would ever be the same.
Author's Response: Thanks Alamos! I was trying to draw the reader into Pam's emotions and feel them as she would have.

I'll never get tired of CN stories, especially when they are as well written as this is! You wrote with such a depth of emotions that I felt the sadness all over again. Great take on both Jim and Pam's thoughts. I couldn't help but chuckle over Angela's "Will this affect your work performance?"

I loved that Jim asked Angela to give Pam a ride home! Sigh. It's been way more than a year later and Casino Night still can pack such a punch. Great job and I look forward to reading more :-)
Author's Response: Thanks sudz! I'm pretty sure that that portion of the story wasn't a huge stretch, I would think our boy Jim is still a gentleman even when crushed emotionally.
