Great chapter and story. I remember reading it in the fall and am so glad you updated! You've focused on Pam's emotions in such detail which makes it seem like we're right there with her. Can't wait for more.

Awww... Poor Pam! Is it wrong that I just want to give her a hug? (Well, considering that I usually want to do that anyway.. ;P)
Seriously, though, you've done a nice job in this chapter in showing the borderline panic she must've felt when she found out he was gone and not coming back. Look forward to more!
