Solid gold. You're the master at the cold open. Thanks for writing these, I love them.

This was just excellent. Pitch perfect for all three characters - it really reads like part of an episode and that is extremely rare in fic, I think. Especially liked Tuna to be and Jim's final little Help. Ha! Anyway, thanks for this - what a great little break on a Monday morning, and it made me even more excited for the SP, if that's possible.

Author's Response: Thanks Colette! I am so happy that you and others think that this "sounds" like the characters we love so much. That is very important to me. Thanks so much for that!

I think I love you a little bit, kgreene. You always show up and make me giggle when I'm having a less-than-stellar day. :) Thanks!

Author's Response: AWWWWWWW! Thank you! I love you a little bit, too, Callisto! You say something nice like that and I have a big ol' smile on my face!

"Keep that breathless charm! Pig Latin!
Ontway ouyay eesplay a-ay angeray itay!
(regular voice)
Breaking her down, Tuna!"

I literally howled with laughter at this. Awesome, awesome stuff - perfect ending. However. IF there is a Sinatra (I prefer the Chet Baker version) song at the wedding (which I doubt) it simply must be "Lucky" or I will burn Utica to the ground. *grin* Thanks for brightening my Monday morning.

Author's Response: Thanks, Jazzy! That IS a good tune. I do have a soft spot in my heart for "The Way You Look Tonight", though. Chet Baker, huh? I'll have to give that a listen. Thanks Jazzy, I'm glad you got a laugh out of it!

P.S.  Just read "1,246 days of JAM."  You have captured exactly the way I feel, Kev.  That kiss will never get old, and I haven't ever been this invested in a fiction couple either.  Awesome job.  I subscribed to the e-mail list so I can see when the site is updated :)

Author's Response: Thanks, Nan!!! NICE! We at the LITO site salute you! And please, read Bob's piece, it's really good!

I only just recently got my act together and registered with the archive, so I'm sorry if I don't review each CO individually. They would deserve that, they're all just that good. Not a single one failed to make me laugh. This one was great too, the characters were so spot on, I could hear them and see their manerisms as I read. Good job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I wouldn't expect you to review all of these... that's a lot of reviewin"! I'm glad you like and that you think they ring true. Thanks again!

Awww, kev, how nice of you to whip up another CO to further heighten our pre-premier frenzy : D  This was such fun...and not just because the Sinatra version of The Way You Look Tonight happens to be one of my "desert island" songs ; )  In a perfect world, we'll get some Andy singing at the wedding, eh?  Great job, as always.

Author's Response: Thanks, Nan! I love that song. My wife and I danced (or she danced and I stumbled) to that song at our wedding. And I suspect Andy will sneak a tune in there somewhere... lol.. thanks again!

Your ideas are so funny, and your grasp of the characters is spot-on. I can see so many of these being used for the show- the writers should be listening!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Boy, I would LOVE that!

Man... Michael should never be allowed to name anything. Dwight Great Scott. That kid will need therapy.

Author's Response: Lol... luckily it never came to that. Thanks!

I love when everyone in the office runs with a prank. This is what actually made me laugh out loud though:

RYAN

Nothing that should be on a t-shirt.

Glad to see the inspiration still strikes you! :)

Author's Response: Yeah, it still strikes me... now and then... lol.. Thanks!

OMG, I think I hurt myself laughing, especially when everybody chimed in wtih the O Mart and K Mal hand bump, etc. You are so freaking good at nailing these characters - they really should employ you for the show. I'm glad you're back, and can't wait for the next installment.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks Jazzy! I'm really glad you liked!

kgreene in the house!  And with your 65th installment, no less!  I was transported to the DunnyMiff conference room.  When will the t-shirt be available on nbc.com? ; )

Author's Response: LOL... that's great! Boy, I would love that!  Hmmmm... think NBC would kick in some royalties?  : ) Yeah, my neither. Thanks, Nan!

Haha, poor Michael, a little short. One of the kids I work with is in the same shape. He's four, and he's SO little. He's the same size as most of the toddlers (or smaller). We can't figure it out. His parents and siblings are all normal!

Author's Response: Ah, He'll probably spring up like a weed at some point and dwarf everyone. So don't make fun of him 'cause he'll step on you later! Thanks!

I think Jim would have loved an Accordion. Or, at least, I find it fascinating how they are made, but cannot for the life of me imagine anyone wanting them.

Author's Response: lol.. yeah, that's a mystery, isn't it? I mean, how they are made... and, I guess, why anyone would want one too. Thanks!

Woot! Loved it. I was so happy to see a Cold Open update - made my morning. Seeing Dwight deal with the Jam pregnancy is going to be all kinds of funny. And of course Dwight would suggest a hummmer (or a tank). Nicely done.

Author's Response: Thanks Jazzy!
