I love this story! It's so poetic and lyrical (you truly have a way with words!) and even though it's just a normal moment shared between Jim and Pam, it felt significant in its simplicity. I also liked how you added details of how they meshed their lives.
Reading this made me sigh in contentment...it was so excellent! Thank you for sharing!

Lovely. I like how simply and realistically you describe the process of turning from best work friends to having a real relationship, and how that's not always fun but is very rewarding when you arrive at where they are. You choose just the right word at the right time, and that's a lovely skill to have. Thanks for this.

This waas a pretty piece of prose. I liked that they are imperfect and discovering each other's imperfections, rather than having everything be rosy all the time.
This is particulary lovely:
They kissed and everything felt new, they laughed and everything felt the same. They were far past the point of getting to know each other, but in a sense, they really were not.
It's so very true!

Beautifully written. It makes me long for the bright sunshine and happy warmth of April. *sigh*
Yet you also dealt with the ups and downs of getting to know one another and the growth of a relationship...I know I've fought over many a stupid thing in my relationships (things like IKEA instruction manuals...brilliant!) and you did a wonderful job of highlighting those necessary moments in even the most perfect life.

Author's Response: sitting here with a winter coat on (inside, haha) and a blanket, I know exactly what you mean about April. Which is why I wanted to write this, partially :) And I also just put together three chairs from Ikea in what turned out to be a two and a half hour production, haha. But I am glad that you liked those elements of the story, and I appreciate the review and the compliments-- it means so much to me as I'm getting started with all this!
