Unbelievably good.  Makes me sad.  I still think Ryan's a weasel, though : )

Author's Response: Hee, well, t-that's part of his charm? Thank you!

I'm kind of obsessed with this. Thanks for the speedy updates! I never thought I'd say this but.. PLEASE let Ryan and Pam end up together!

Author's Response: Oh yay, I'm glad you're rooting for those crazy kids! Thanks!

Okay so you are an awesome writer - I say that mainly because I am cheering for Ryan - FOR RYAN - that is so messed up. Please continue.

Author's Response: Hee, thanks so much!

Annakovsky--After reading your LJ and thumbing through this story, I'm finally discovering all the "Philadelphia Story" tie-ins. At first I thought it was just the fabulous chapter titles, but now i can see it in the actual story. I have to say I'm hoping Tracy springs for George in this situation, but that's only because I'm an impossible Jam-fan. You've written a good Dexter Ryan here, though, and I'm enjoying the story! --CH (aka cah215)

Author's Response: Isn't TPS fun? I love that movie. Hee, I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Thanks for reading!

Blurg, this is so sad! Next chapter today, please! Please please let them get back together-- you've turned me into a pryan addict!

This is really smartly done, and interesting to boot. Very nice work.

Yes! That was kind of delicious to watch (?)...Ryan's reactions are so spot-on; you are mah-velous.  Also: I think a story from Hunter's p.o.v. is in order.  Just sayin'

Author's Response: Thanks so much! And hee, I would LOVE a fic from Hunter's pov. Poor Hunter, so abused.

This is very realistic. I hate it! But I also love it. I want her to be with Jim. I want her to be with Ryan. Geeez. This story has me hooked.

Author's Response: Heee, well, thank you!

The details of how well Ryan and Pam know each are so well-constructed. I know he's a bit of a douchebag, but I'm SO rooting for him to get a second chance! Never thought I'd be saying that! "Jim fucking Halpert!"

Author's Response: Oh man, thank you so much! That's super nice to hear. :)

Wow.  Just, wow.

I actually feel like a Ryan/Pam shipper right now, that's how good this story is since I'm usually exclusively JAM.  I actually don't know how I want this story to end up.  I have faith you are taking me to a good place though.

The short version of what I just wrote?  I love it!

Author's Response: Oh man, thanks so much! That means a lot to me, getting you to switch alliances even briefly! :)

This is sad yet awesome.  I love this because I'm never quite sure where it's going, yet the next part is always realistic.

This is so interesting and unique.  I can't wait to see where you're going.  Ryan is such a weasel.

Author's Response: Heee, he is, that's why I love him. :) Thanks so much!

Really liking the tart, snappy dialogue - definitely has the flavor of the screwball comedies you mentioned at the start. And Ryan is almost scarily - well, Ryan here. Love how he says Jim Fucking Halpert...aptly sums up his attitude about him: he'd never say just Jim or Halpert, it would always (at least in his mind) be one word: JimfuckingHalpert.

Author's Response: Oh man, thanks so much! That's really nice to hear. :)

Well this is certainly a different type of fic than... well... anything I've ever seen in this fandom.

I don't think I could make it through two minutes of Nickelback.

Author's Response:

Hee, well, I'm always aiming for uniqueness! And I agree on the Nickelback.

Wert is wrong. I'm not pissed off at all and I'm totally in love with this story.  I have a very soft spot for Pam/Ryan especially when Ryan finds himself head over heals for Pam. Excellent story, excellent details.

I'm also so excited to see where you take this. I'm wondering about your title and how it will come into play. I'm just so fascinated with the concept of how these people would react if the documentary were real and you've got me hooked.

Author's Response:

Oh man, you're so sweet to review! I am really sorry I inadvertently used your fic title -- it's such a good one, is all. :)

Thanks so much!

Oh, man, you are too cruel!  Are you seriously going to destroy Ryan's two-sizes-too-small heart? haha...I'm really enjoying the AU-ness of this and am excited for what's up next :)  And I love drunk Gray's Papaya nights, good choice

I love pam/ryan but only I think when it is this version of ryan. Or well, basically the ryan we all know and love under the influence of Pam. which I guess is the point.  Um basically I love this so far and I'm really excited about the jim/pam stuff, too, because I really, really am a sucker for a truly symmetrical love triangle which is where it looks like this story could be going.

Author's Response: Oh man, thanks so much! And yeah, I'm really going for that Ryan-as-softened-by-Pam and Pam-as-livened-up-by-Ryan goal, so I'm glad that comes across at all. Thanks for reading!

I'm interested to see where you go with this. I'm not the hugest fan of Pam/Ryan, mostly because I can't really see underneath that first layer of jerk. But I think if others can, then maybe I am just being too judgmental. I wonder how Jim is going to fit into all of this. I wonder if Pam even thinks of him at all. That kind of makes me sad. Anyways, I'll definitely be checking back to see how it all plays out.

Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you're interested, anyway! Thanks for reviewing!

The hand towel has Rosie the Riveter on it.  It's this kind of not throwaway detail that you have in your writing that has always made me a fan.  And I did like the very subtle Ryan/Hunter undertones.

Author's Response: Thank you!

Holy smokes.  This is addicting.  I'm so glad you have chapters ready to post for the next like three days because I'd die. ;-) I love the idea of Pam being a city girl drinking Sangria.  Awesome job.

"Jim Halpert, thank God, did not come back to Scranton when the Stamford branch merged with it – instead he quit, got another job somewhere."

Ryan + Pam - Jim = a very intriguing story! I like how blase Pam seems about her relationship with Ryan, and how into Pam he is. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying.
