You did a really good job capturing what makes JAM feel both universal and unique here.

Wow! I really really loved this.
I found the structure of this story fascinating.

While I absolutely loved the 'first date' section it is a close second to the 'make up' section. That was so perfectly written.

Wow! I really really like this ... especially these lines.

He worries that her art will keep raising her up until one day she’ll look down and realize a paper salesman isn’t good enough for her.

She worries that she can never live up to the imagined relationship he longed for. She thinks the pedestal he puts her on is so high that the inevitable fall will break both of them.

I like the way you express these thoughts, and the resolution you give them in the next section.

Bravo!

How very pretty. I think every really-truly-in-love couple knows that they're special. I like that this is really true for these two; they've earned it.

Wow. Such lovely writing here!
You've really captured them, and also the reality of relationships, so very well with this lovely little piece.
Honestly this is one of the most honest and realistic descriptions of what Jim and Pam could be that I've ever read. Fantastic job!

I love you, I love you, I love you! Just when I start jonesing for you to write another masterpiece, you do. The first part was a marked difference from your usual, but then the second glance part blew me away. Their perfect together through loving their imperfections. IMO, the best part is about their first date, when they can skip all the standard questions. In awe as always :)

I really like this - the idea that things have worked out as jim always hoped - but still not quite the same - sounds pretty realistic to me.  :)

This was amazing. I love the way you described Jim's rethinking his "theories".

And this is a question I've wondered, too:  "She asked him why a golden yogurt lid brought all this on when burnt feet and blunt truth couldn’t."

This was really good.  I love how on the surface they might seem "ordinary" but when you take another look there's more to their story.  Very sweet and real. Loved it!

Awww sweet fluffy goodness. She keeps the yearbook picture in her wallet -- that's adorable. I love how you made that list in the beginning and then re-visited each "theory". That was lovely. =)
