Even I could never have thought of a plot so... strange.  Hence, perfect Schrute.

Author's Response:

You're selling yourself short.  You've already thought up way stranger stuff than this.

It's nice to see you around again.  Are you coming back to the forum?  You've been missed.  Not by Ryan, but... ;)  I noticed you were writing again.  I haven't read it yet -- I'm way behind on reading.  But it was good to see you were writing. :)

Thanks for reading and reviewing, Alex Wert.  You'll have to read the final chapter when it's posted to see if it gets stranger or more normal.  It is Schrute Farms, though, so...

Oh my goodness--so funny : )  What an image this paints.  Should have known that Dwight wouldn't be having a conventional Easter egg hunt.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you like it!  There's not much that's conventional about Schrute Farms.  Remember Dwight's phone conversation about the agrotourism inn?  They make their own mattresses that don't conform to standard sizes?  They must have to make their own sheets, too.  They probably have wool sheets with the wool made from their own sheep. (Itchy -- Angela probably likes it that way; it's a sort of nightly penance.) ;)

I'm glad you're enjoying this, NanReg!  Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)

wow...did not expect that...great idea...can't wait for more!!!

Author's Response:

Expect the unexpected at Schrute Farms, right?  I'm so glad you're enjoying this; the final chapter should be posted sometime this week.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, dancer! :)

I was worried that it was an egg hunt, not an Easter egg hunt!!  Bwah!

Inschruteable is my new favorite word.  When they use it on the show, Greg Daniels owes you a coke.

Author's Response:

You must know the way I think.  Or maybe you read some review responses.  Or maybe...you know the way Dwight thinks.  Hmmm.

There are only so many Schrute jokes one can make, aren't there?  I was glad to come up with (as far as I know) a new one.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, lisahoo! :)

Reading this makes me long for another episode set at Schrute Farm. So funny and such a clever idea. And this line has to be one of the best ever about a toddler (and really sounds like Jim): "We're watching him, though," said Jim. "If he starts some kind of regime of terror, we'll shut it right down." Ha!

Author's Response:

This holiday series is really making me pull out all the stops in terms of story ideas; it's kind of fun and has been a real challenge for me.  And I have to say it was easier to write this story set at Schrute Farms, now that we've seen the setting.  This is actually my 3rd story set there, but this is the first time I know the setting. ;)

Only Dwight would hear Joey and think Joseph Stalin.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, Colette! :)

I knew Dwight Schrute could never do anything normal!

Haha.. I loved it! I can't wait to see how this is going to turn out.

Author's Response:

Normal and Schrute, does not compute. ;)

Hopefully I'll wrap it up by Thursday.  I think it will continue to be unschrutable.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, nepats
