its a really cool concept. i had one of those sorta. it was a time capsule thing in our agenda from theyear2000. i fept mine, and as i was packing for college (so really only like 4,5 yearslater, i found a letter i wrote to myself with everything i liked and stuff like that. some of it hadn't changed, other stuff i laughed at me ever liking.
i also remember when i was younger than 16, i read a story that compared not being married by 40 to not having been kissed by 16. and then i hadn't been kissed by 16. i was heart broken. i thought for sure that meant i was going to be an old maid (well, still feel that way sometimes)

Wow, that was great. I had to do one of these, and it just got me thinking that I should be getting it in the mail pretty soon! I can't remember what I wrote...anyway. Point is, I loved this, it was a great first fic, and I really REALLY want to knwo what Pam writes in her new letter!

Really interesting! You captured the young Pam well, and having Jim offer to mail her the next letter was a nice Jim touch.
