No angry letters from this quarter, either! I liked how Pam's borrrowed courage only went so far before it petered out. Thought Jim's reaction was pretty believable. I was surprised that Pam didn't call him on being so angry with her for doing the exact same thing he did on Casino Night – confess to being in love and hope like hell for the right response.
Anxiously awaiting House's reappearance ... and Pam's next confrontation with Jim!

Angry letters? No, no, there will be none of that. This was good. This was raw hurt, exactly in-character. We've seen them get cold and angry at each other before; it's exactly right. I loved House insisting that he get to watch the match, too. Ah, I have good feelings about how you're going to resolve all of this (no speculation, just a lot of faith in you!).

Angry?? No...I know you're not done with this! It was refreshing (in some weird way) to see Jim's behavior written in a way that matched his actions in most of S3. I like to hear people's feelings/words get misunderstood and tangled up as they try to communicate...just like in real life. Well done again - more soon, pretty please??

Haha, not angry at all. In fact, I'm not surprised at Jim's reaction at all after a Beesly bombshell like that. It's going to take a bit of time for that to sink in, and aloofness is his only defense right now.
Can't wait for more House-fortified bravery from our Pam!

Upon the second read, this still had the same effect on me. You've captured the tension here in an amazing way! I'm trusting that this "patient" does not die! Incredible job. I love what you are doing with this story. Thank you for sharing :)

Wow, you really captured S3 Pod!person Jim here. This is the 'strange unexplained bleeding or coma' part of the show, where everything gets really crazy right before House figures out what's really causing the problem, right?

Wow. Great chapter, Mox. Really taut and tense - Jim's simmering anger and Pam's nervousness, then courage, then defeat, were so palpable. And you're still scaring me with how well you channel House. Really liking this.
