Well I, like Pam, missed House a bit here, but you more than made up for it with the quiet, intense sadness throughout. Driving by his house, curling up with tea, just being regretful...it's a heartbreaking image. But dawn breaks and there's a tap at the door. It's so wonderfully hopeful.

I have to say I really liked this chapter...the driving down Jim's street...great descriptions...I think we've all been there. Two-thumbs up!
