There's still something insanely entertaining about this premise - and the way you tell the story.(May actually be my fave of yours.) I love House figuratively slapping Jim upside his head, once he'd convinced himself Pam had pulled a 180. And I love even more that Pam just heard knock on her door. Make her answer it soon! (Or I'll send House to haunt your dreams;-)

Yay, House is back, and harassing one Jim Halpert. I think you beautifully capture Jim's season 3 see-saw, between thawing a bit toward Pam to completely freezing her out. He couldn't stand not to have her in his life, but he couldn't stand to have her around, either. Love!

Halpert definitely needed a good kick in the ass and, apparently, House was just the man for the job. I'm glad we got this little glimpse into what was going through Jim's mind after Pam's confession to him. That boy is his worst enemy sometimes, eh? Looking quite forward to the next chapter. No pressure :-P

And who knew Karen had it in her to be 'nice' to Jim? Of course, this explains it to a tee: He knew exactly what was expected from him to keep her happy. Written like a true cynic, Mox.
You know I love all the House details, what a sarcastic pain in the ass he is, complete with punching elevator buttons with his cane and general smart-assery.
