Ok, Moxie, it's taken me four days of stolen moments reading this story. I have loved every word and every moment of it.
I heard so much about this story on the NBC boards that I had to check it out. I am now addicted. From the e-mail and phone calls to the surprises, it is perfects.
I also LOVE that you include pictures. I was having a hard time picturing Pam's dress and it is so cute. Also, those shoes are so Pam!
You are an amazing story writer and I look forward to seeing what will happen next.
I'm curious. Will you take it up to The Merger?

Author's Response: I don't remember exactly, but if you do a google search use the terms 'red patent leather' you might find it. I do know they were available in heel sizes ranging from 3" to 6"!! Thanks for reviewing - I still have to get you your Dr. Who audiofiles!!

OK, Mox. I've just reread this whole delicious story, and all the usual accolades spring to mind....but, with one we critique.
If we are keeping score on satisfaction, Jim is beating Pam by a 2-1 ratio AT LEAST. I say girl deserves some payback.
And, it goes without saying that your loyal readers deserve a detailed description.

HAHAHAHAHA! that's the best way ever to finish a wonderful chapter. i would like to give a long detailed review, but there's so much to talk about! i'll try anyway :)
they're just so cute together and you wrote that really well. it was nice to see this updated. i love this story line so much. Fancy New Beesly was shining through so well in this chapter! Karen's cameo was very interesting. and a tiny thing i love is Jim wanting to kiss the back of Pam's neck b/c he rarely gets to see it. he loves her oh-so-much and you write the two of them in love oh-so-well. thanks for updating a wonderful story!

As a reader I find your writing style captivating. I think the way you expressed the passion, intimacy and eroticism of Pam and Jim's 'first time' was very real. We'll never see it (and quite frankly I don't know if I want to). Sometimes the fantasy exceeds the reality.
I was so happy to see there is another chapter after this one.

Nice touch adding Jonathan - the affection and teasing between the brothers was very believable.
The come on from Wendy was an interesting addition - perhaps reading the remaining chapters will help me understand it's significance because I'm not sure I get it right now. A test of Jim's feelings for Pam? Doesn't seem necessary the way his character has evolved in this story so far. Oh well...

Being Canadian and from the same area as the Barenaked Ladies I like their music and this happens to be a favourite of mine that I haven't heard in quite awhile. Thanks for the reminder and another superb chapter.
So far I'm liking this better than 'squirrel mcpants' which I didn't think was possible. You seem to have a remarkable connection with the hearts, minds and souls of these characters. This, added to your engaging writing style and talent makes for the best fanfic.

Moxie -- I am impressed that you keep finding new ground for P&J to cover -- I mean besides new places to have sex (hee!). The discussion about the long-distance relationship, missing each other before the weekend is over (been there, done that!) was great. And the whole competition issue between them? Awe. Some. Plus I am really LOVING how they are still discovering new things about the other, while reveling in their familiarity.
(And I admit, I am a total girl & loved the conversation about the 'old fashioned way' YAY!) And 'forbidden toppings' cracked me up!!
