I completely understand. I'm so sorry if I made it sound like I didn't like or appreciate this chapter for its symbolism in the story - I definitely think it needed to be written. I was just trying to say that out of all of the previous chapters, this was not my favorite, I liked the other two a bit more because of the content. But anyways, I totally understand that this needed to be written and how essential Pam quitting her job is to the story. Great job with this story, the idea was so creative and it's very interesting to read!

I hope you post the next installment soon, I can't wait to see how you bring Pam back into Jim's life. I love Claire, and the interaction between Jim and his teenage daughter was quite realistic. I'm curious to see how much of a role Claire plays in Jim and Pam's reconciliation.

Ohhh, I think I’m going to love this story. Like someone said in another review, it's refreshing to see that Jim CAN be happy without Pam. So many stories focus on Jim being the type of guy who is constantly longing for Pam, and a much as he loved her, he wasn't super pathetic. He could have moved on... This is very realistic. And come on, Jim as a single dad is very sexy – and the fact he’s a teacher is even hotter heee =) Can’t wait to see what happens next!!!!

I'm so glad that you're enjoying it, and very soon the next chapter will be up :) I agree, Jim's kind of a needy character when it comes to Pam, and I think that it's very possible that he could move on, with the right woman, and that's what I intend to show with Sarah. It doesn't mean that Pam and Jim aren't soulmates, only..in my universe, it's going to take them a bit longer to get there

Oh my goodness. This is so depressing, reading about Jim losing his wife, and Claire losing her mother. But you MUST keep going! This is INCREDIBLY well written, and I'm addicted already! I love all of your description, and Claire's teenaged ways are completely accurate (believe me, I just recently exited that phase). Lastly, I just HAVE to love Claire, I mean that's my name, so I automatically love that name, and I wouldn't mind being Jim's daughter at all. Not to mention, according to your description we look similar...
So yeah, I'm addicted, and I better be reading something new soon! (Sorry, that wasn't meant to be mean, I'm just giving you an ultimatum - because if you decide to submerge all us readers in your incredible story telling than you better not just offer ice cream, actually give it to us!)

Wow, I can't wait to see where you go with this! I really like your writing style, and already really like Claire, she seems very sweet. I am so glad you didn't have him be with Karen and instead created a whole new character. I'm happy to see he has a great relationship with his daughter, and he found someone to be happy with for 13 years that wasn't Pam. Sometimes that scenario doesn't work for me personally, but in this one chapter I'm convinced they were a happy family. Great stuff, can't wait for more updates. *adds to favorites*

wow i like it, im glad jim was able to be happy without pam. thats new and refreshing and more real too. poor pam though. but i guess we'll see our favorite couple together soon, well maybe not that soon, i dont thing claire is gonna like the jam. jeje

Author's Response: Something a little different huh? I mean logically, Jim would be happy even if Pam and him didn't work out, but of course, in the end, they'll find their way back to each other. But there may be some bumps and bruises along the way.
