I have to agree, this wasn’t my favourite chapter. It was more focused on Pam and that never holds my interest as much as Jim centric chapters do. This says NOTHING on your writing though. You have definitely improved leaps and bounds when it comes to capturing Jim and Pam’s characterisation and you should be SO proud of that.
I love Jim and Claire and can’t wait to see how you have their relationship develop now that he’s a single father.
I have mentioned this time and time again to you on AIM, but I’m really interested to see how you deal with the whole Pam and Roy situation, and Jim and Pam dealio without it being unrealistic and forced. You better be writing YO!

Wow, what's Jim's name doing there??? I can't wait to find out. I assume that this was a filler chapter, because not much happened, but you needed to keep the story moving - I thought it was lacking a bit of content. But if it was a filler I completely understand.
Great story, and as always this is fantastic! I'll be waiting for the next chapter!
Author's Response: To make a story get where you want it to go, certain things need to happen, and one of them was Pam leaving her job. I worked very hard on the writing of this chapter, because with an epic story (in length)not every chapter is going to have something huge happen. Thank you for the review..:)

Hi! First - yay an update! Second, I 'yayed' in my head when Pam quit! What a jerk Jeff and Neil are! I'm really adoring Jim and Claire's relationship too, so typical to be embarrassed to be seen with your father in front of your friends at that age. And I love that she and Emma are such great friends, seems like a sisterly relationship, very cool. And.... OMG! Why does Emma have Jim's name written down?!! What is Pam going to do now that she quit her job? Great chapter! I literally can't wait for more. :)

I've been lucky enough to base Emma off a real character that's friends with my mother, she's cooky and wonderful and I love her. And Claire and Jim's relationship is loosely based off my father's and mine when I was that age. I promise an update very soon, and I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
