I really love this premise! And I like the no nonsense attitude you've given Pam - tough and indifferent, with the hint of a softer interior. I'm looking forward to seeing how Jim wins her trust back.
Author's Response: Thank you Monotreme! That's exactly what I wanted for her, to be strong and unshrinking. I don't want her to come across as a bitch, so it was tough trying to get that balance and keep her characterization intact. I have a lot of ideas for this so I'm hoping you'll continue to enjoy the journey!

I have the end all mapped out, it's just these middle chapters that I'm trying to work out, so hopefully I'll have an update out within a day or two, and we'll find out why Pam got up and walked away. WOW... nicely written. At first I thought this was a one-shot, but I'm glad to see it will be continued. I'm very interested to see where this is going.
On a side note, I read the first chapter of the story about Jim on the bike, it's not up anymore and you say here it won't be finished. What happened? I was interested to see where that was going.
Author's Response: Thanks BluetimesTwo! I'll definitely be continuing this. I was in the middle of the second chapter of the other story that I took down and as i wrote i went off on a huge tangent and this idea was born. It sort of took the other story I was doing in a direction I didn't want it to go in. I probably could have scrapped what i had and just went back to what i intended for the one I took down. I can re- visit the other one after this story but I have a stronger idea for this one now. Sorry for any confusion! Hope you will enjoy this one.
