Love the interaction between Jim and Jack. The poor guy, he was only trying to be honest with you Pam.But he broke her heart once before, so she is no doubt finding it hard to fully trust him again aw.

Ah, Jim. Everything was going so well! I like how you softened up Pam, and I can completely see why she would walk away from him in the beginning. I like the slow pace of this, but I do hope there is a happy ending to this in the works. Jack is adorable and really adaptable to Jim over the course of a day. I think these second two chapters are keeping with Pam's character more than the first two. The end of this chapter broke my heart though.
