Ive just finished reading your Love loyalty friendship story in its entirety and I love it! You managed to capture their voices and I’m so impressed with the restraint that you give to Jim and Pam’s characters. It was so worth the wait. Beautiful writing!

Of course I've read many fics about how the first date went but yours is already competing for my accepted head canon, it's just so incredibly *true* to the characters! The "quack" note was adorable and 100% Jim, and you really nailed the JAM banter, now if only this could be brought to the screens. I'll have to take on the other 3 chaps when it's not so late but the first is already so fantastic you don't know how tempting it is to continue.
P.S. potato pancakes with applesauce AND gravy fries both sound delicious these two need to get over themselves ;-)
Thank you so much for the positive feedback! My husband is a Scranton native, so I'm very lucky to have a source of local lore under my very own roof. All of the items presented on the menus at the various restaurants in the story exist as written. :)
Of course, there is no Benihana anywhere near Scranton, but it counts as canon since they went there on the show.

Wow! This has got to be the longest 4 chapter fic I have ever read! And I wouldn't have minded if it had gone on to be an incredibly long 10 chapter fic. I was actually a little bummed we didn't get to read about them at the barbecue and Pam first meeting with jims family. But, damn, I *really* enjoyed every word you did write.
This ended up falling into a very small group of jam fics that when I finish reading them I instantly want to start it all over again.
Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Author's Response: I see you already found Irish Spring! Thank you so much for the feedback :)

This is such a great story!! Really great writing and your characterization is right on! Keep up the great work.
I also have a question about your writing that I would prefer to ask via email. If you don't mind, could you please email me at pyrofanity47(at)gmail(dot)com? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
Author's Response: I did get your email. I unfortunately don't have the time to spare, but am very VERY flattered. Thank you so much :)

Sorry for the late review!! What a great story! Your writing is so engaging and you can make litrally anything totally believable of the characters. Like Pam is probably not the most obviously sexual and "kinky" person, but because of the way you write I can totally believe that she feels so comfortable around Jim that she'd be down for all she was down for! I'm sad this story is finished but I cannot wait to read whatever extravaganza you come up with next!
P.S It's not obnoxious at all :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words :) Honestly, pacing and transitions are definitely something I feel I need to work on. I do feel this story would have been more convincing over several weeks, rather than all in one weekend. Not sure I have it in me to write a third first-date fic, but I have several other ideas floating around in my head. Thank you so much for reading!

Wow this whole story is pretty good, for the most part id say you captured their characters pretty well and I can def. see a lot of this being canon with the show. Very well written, I can really visualize what's going on with your vocab and specific details!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading :)

Holy crap. This entire story knocked me on my ass. Your writing is flawless and incredibly detailed; the dialogue is so crisp I can hear the conversation happening real time in my head! I appreciate a great first date fic, and you nailed it. Keep up the amazing work!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! I worry that I do too much dialogue, but it's my favorite thing :)

Quite literally MADE an account here just so I could leave a review and let you know how much I loved this story and ALL your stories, for that matter. PLEASE keep it up, and maybe, just maybe, I'll muster up the courage to publish a story of my own. :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I spend way more time reading here than I do writing. There's so much great writing on this site, it's very inspirational. And a little intimidating!

Jesus Christ. The length of the chapter is worth the wait untill you get to the end people! And by end I mean the last third...
Right, I really love how they talk about the "doodly doo" with eachother, eg favourite positions. It makes it so sweet, realistic and so adorably awkward!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing :) It's easier to post long chapters than the short ones I did with my last 2 stories. I hope it's not too obnoxious.

I loved that Karen got her moment, because let's be honest, she did really deserve it! I also really loved how Pam described her life with Roy as I think it's important to remember that she really couldn't have made the decision to choose Jim right there on the spot.
All in all a wonderful, cathartic chapter! :)

Right, I'm a sucker for a first date fic so majorly exited to read the rest! This was so good; I loved the gravy/apple sauce banter! It works so well since the characterisation is spot on. Btw you're really good at text/email conversations between Jim and Pam!
