I’m spending my entire work day staring at a screen at the moment, so I’m having trouble with coming home & then spending more time staring at a screen. My eyes, they burn. The real downside to this is that I’m falling behind on this wonderful story.
Their first/not first date was lovely. The mixed berries was a very nice touch.
It stands to reason that there needs to be a touch of angst, especially with Stamford looming over them. Using a Stamford hotel to prompt the conversation made me laugh - talk about a literal sign...

Author's Response: I'm sorry you're experiencing eye burnout! Thanks for spending the eye-time to read :). And I happened to be Google Street Viewing the street and there was the sign and I was like "I cannot let this pass unused." So yes, a very literal sign! Thanks for reading.

I don't like angst for the sake of angst, but this is an important one. I wonder how they sort things out and hope for better.
Oh, and that moment, when Pam noticed how crushed Jim was and how she reacted to it. She is so understanding, and it's melting my heart.
Thank you!

Author's Response: Plot angst it is! And soon to be over. I like understanding Pam, and I think she makes the story better. Thank you for the review!

They were having such an amazing day, until that hotel sign out a damper on them. They do have to discuss Stamford, though. Hope it goes smoothly

Author's Response: This is not angst!fic, so you can probably make some safe assumptions. Thanks for the review!

Not done reading the chapter yet, but that Biblical reference. Wow. Not sure I've ever read something quite like that. Heck of a way to describe it though. Made me grin. On with the rest of the chapter.

Okay, so yes there's still some stuff to work through. As much I love rides off into the sunset or happily ever after, the real world rarely works like that. Thus such things are unavoidable. However with everything they've set up thus far, hopefully they won't go to far down the angst trail.

Author's Response:

Heh. I like that moment in the Bible and so I work it into things whenever I can.

Thanks for the comment! I think it's important that they work through things even if we know they'll work through them.
