Jim’s on the money there, all roads do indeed lead to Anzac memorials (in any Australian city/town...) It made me smile to think that you’ve captured the essence of Sydney there.
I can’t wait to see what you figure out in order to resolve the Stamford divide...

Author's Response: Aw, I'm glad that my impression from Google was correct about that :). Thanks for reading, and I promise to get it explained somehow.

Ah, the way they two switched their conversation from intense and serious to silly and light is so endearing. And the whole 'lost in the city and don't care about it' thing is sweet.
I like this line: 'even that minor honesty with Jim was somehow a relief of the years and years of repressed feelings and unclear expressions.' Perhaps, I like the way Pam is free (kind of?) from things that hold her back at last. Perhaps, I just like them both happy :)

Author's Response: I like that too :) Glad you think this is delivering!

All caught up and I’m glad they’re taking their time! I love these innocent little interactions interspersed with more serious conversation. And I’m glad to see that they’re tackling the issue of Stamford without a lot of doom and gloom or skirting around it. Great as always, Comfect!

Author's Response: Thank you! I' so glad you caught up. Glad to have you with us.

Yes filler, but cute filler. I love the idea that they got so lost in each other's eyes that they also got lost in the city. Great fun to be sure.

Author's Response: Thank you! Great fun is what I'm after after all.
