It's so much fun to look at the S3 episodes with Jim and Pam together! So much is really affected by his absence. Kinda like It's a Wonderful Life, in a way, you know?
Thanks for writing!

Author's Response: Thank you! I like to think Jim in Scranton would be a great help--as you will see in these chapters. I agree--very George Bailey. Thanks!

I caught myself on forgetting that moment in the show and desiring to rewatch the episode but remembered on time that there wouldn't be holding hands, and Jim would be in Stamford, and there would be a shadow of Karen somewhere, so... I'd rather reread this chapter again :)

Author's Response: Well, I have never had higher praise. Thank you!

Season 3 is so much more fun when Pam and Jim are on better than good terms... This was lovely. Jan in particular was delightful - I love that she’s onto Jim, but completely encouraging about it. “Upwards in this company.” So great.

Author's Response: Thank you!

Glad you're only doing the episodes that strike your fancy, write what comes to you!

Manager Jim running interference was a nice touch.

Author's Response: Thank you! I like the idea that non-angsty Jim is maybe better at his job.

Very cute. Another nice Jim moment. And actually not that far off base from what Jim told Jan. Watching movies IS bringing the team together. It's kind of fun to see that for all his craziness Micheal actually is a pretty good boss. Unorthodox to be sure, but once you look past the 12 year old, he does inspire loyalty in his staff.

Of course Jim and Pam are also glad for the time to hold hands so I can't blame them there either.

Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate it--and I'm glad you found it believable.
