Oh, this is such a fun set up! I can’t say I’ve ever read anything like it before, I love a good twist.
You had me a little worried in the first part with Katy making the briefest of cameos, but then the focus shifted to Steve and now I’m so very excited to see where you go with this - especially so early on in canon. A really unique premise...

Huh, not the direction I thought that was going. Revenge on Michael is an unexpected twist, but I'll take it! It sucks to see Jim in a dark place with all of that desperation and the hopeless situation he finds himself in, but I'm sure you will lead us to the light!

A short chapter but still fun. Nice way to bring in Mark and Steve. Should be a lot of fun.
Author's Response: Yeah, I think this is a logical place for him to go (not Poor Richard's, just mentally) after the excitement of Pam's presence wears off. It was a pretty ugh day otherwise...thanks for reading!

Author's Response: Thank you! I think it's possible, and even likely, that Jim would manage to hold both feelings at once. Yes, Pam's presence made it not a bad day, but at the same time he still lost a lot of money and work. I've tried to explain that a bit in the chapter I just put up. I hope you enjoy!
